The BSOD has cost me more money than the RROD.

Don't have a 360 so I can't comment on the RROD but from friends who have one I can see how friggin' painfully frustrating it can be. The BSOD however I had earlier in the year so I voted that.

BSOD has never caused me any great problems. Freaked me out once or twice but, no damage. RROD has pissed me off to no end and cost me some cash, so it gets my vote.

I don't have a 360 or a friend who has had a RROD, does it mean you have to get a new one? There's nothing you could do to make it work? Reading from customers who have had a RROD, they got new ones sent to them, right? I've had BSOD. Alot of BSOD, twice in one year and in a few years, three of four times within a few weeks. However, I've never needed to replace my laptop. I just erase the harddrive and start over. Ironically, the desktop that had to be replaced because of internal problems, there was no BCOD.

I've yet to get RROD (and I hope not to), but have dealt with the annoyance of the blue screen, so I vote blue screen.

BSOD can be fixed by restarting your computer and not doing what you did to achieve it again.
RROD requires you to get is sent in and fixed.
RROD wins!

RROD means you can't play Xbox games. Boo hoo.
BSOD potentially means you can't do ANYTHING.

Thankfully I've never had an RROD but I'll say it is the worst of the two because the BSOD does not kill your system dead (most of the time).

Never dealt with the Blue Screen, but while I am familiar with the horror of the Red Ring both of them are trumped by one thing.
Redd White of Bluecorp. He has three colors, and he killed a guy. Top that.

I've had the blue screen of death happen to me earlier this year. Not fun. Was without my home computer for about a week. I didn't lose anything important, but it still sucked. The IT guy at work had to reinstall Windows XP.

I'd say the RROD. As the BSOD is an "IF" it happens thing.
But with all the horror stories being told, the RROD is almost a "WHEN" it happens thing.
The Anticipation is the killer.

Yeah, it must suck to buy a system and know it's probably going to happen. Kinda cruel to be honest.

I've fixed several BSOD in the day (even one on a work computer that almost had a coworker who knew nothing about computers soil themselves), but the RROD I received was a much bigger pain in the ass, especially when dealing with Microsoft Customer Support. So the RROD gets my vote in this instance.

Since I don't use Windows regularly nor do I have any consoles I can't really say.
But I still voted RROD because it's you likely need to send it for repairs

And fixing a BSOD can be fairly simple, depending on what's causing it. I once fixed one by simply opening the tower and reseating the memory.

I've had a BSOD but all I had to do was sytem restore to a day or so and it was fixed.
My nephiew got a RROD on Christmas day & I had to give up my console for the day.
I vote RROD because it caused more irritation

Blue Screen can be fixed. Red Ring means the thing is dead.

I haven't had RROD on either console I've had but my friend did with his first and I gotta go with that.
BSOD is frustrating, but it's usually a quick fix. At worst it's fresh installing Windows which can be done in a few hours and is simple enough.
Then again, software comes way easier to me than hardware. (I once installed a brand new $50 CD-Rom backwards, frying it.)
