I don't think it's an angle.
Just Jeff Hardy being Jeff Hardy.
You know ... a crackhead.

I didn't like the segment after Jeff came in. Comedy shows do it all the time. They have either a really intense or touching moment, and they could just leave it be, but then they try and finish it with a stupid joke, and it usually falls flat on its face. That 70's show is notorious for this.

The whole Shelton thing is insane as it is. Shelton is basically doing a one-man NOD which is exactly like Edge doing a one man Team Canada (i.e., it's not that great.) Seriously, it basiaclly means Shelton isn't respected because he's not on Smackdown where you have a Black world Champion and a black No. 1 Contender. The fact any of this is taken even remontely seriously, especially anything Jeff does, is a little bizarre on the effect of the fans/internet smarks
Clearly, it's just Jeff being Jeff (not a crackhead though, he wouldn't be in the e if he was, and we all know it, so stop with the stupid jokes that got old when he was still in TNA.)
But I really think this Shelton angle could work a bit, and that this Jeff thing was a quick blow-off to further Shelton's anger/rage whatever, especially because a Hardy/Nitro feud still has some heat (given how fast the match between Nitro and Kane went)

Today there's more black stars in wrestling than there ever has been & I think that's great for wrestling. So having Shelton do an angle playingthe race card is dumb!As I emphasized above,he's a very talented Wrestler & doesn't need that kind os story line.Than again he should be glad he's not where his old tag team partner Charlie Hass is!

I've gotta agree. With one of the company's champion's and his top contender both being african american, a race card gimmick doesn't really work from a logical standpoint.

The closed captioning read the following: >>HEY! [INAUDIBLE] For anyone who cares to know what he said. Oh man, this reminds me of when I used to watch RAW and Nitro with the captions on. It created it's own comedy as whoever was in charge of writing the live captions screwed up often, usually with hilarious results.

In Shelton's defense... those other champions ARE on Smackdown, and if he wants to keep it as a Raw thing (really, who else on Raw is actually black AND successful right now? Viscera?), this could work. Especially if he continues with the hating on Coach for acting so "white."
And even better, the emotion that Shelton put into that promo was more intense than anything he's done in a long time. Everyone complains that he has no charisma, but he had plenty of it tonight.

You do realize you're talking to the same bunch of people who still spout "I DON'T KNOOOOOW!" "El Dandy," "Book Dennis Stamp," etc. every chance they get, don't you? It's not going to stop. Jeff Hardy will forever be a "crackhead," Lita will forever be a ho, and Brian Blair will forever be humbled. Sorry, folks ... I just got up, and I'm a bit cranky before I get my coffee in the morning.

Not seen this yet, but if it gives Shelton a chance to grow as a character a bit, I'm all for it.

I don't think it's an angle. Just Jeff Hardy being Jeff Hardy. You know ... a crackhead. I like that they're going that way. He plays a stellar wackjob. And the Shelton-race thing... it depends on where they go with it. Clearly, it's not true, considering SD. But if they make him Deluded and Angry Shelton The Heel, maybe it'll somehow work. And I don't think anyone can fault a "busting on Coach" promo, can they? Especially since it was some of Shelton's best promo work.

The jokes DX and Cena do everyweek are dumb but fans still laugh and act like it's a big deal while I just turn the channel with ease. Shelton getting on Coach's ass for being a Carlton Banks type was some funny sh**. Definitely more entertaining than hearing Orton or Nitro talk about being the damn future for the 1000th time.

What the hell is Jeff Hardy's character supposed to be? He paints and then makes himself look like an ass with Coach and Shelton. I don't get it.
