I wanna say something. I'm gonna put it out there; if you like it, you can take it, if you don't, send it right back. I want to be on you.

It's like "she wears weird outfits and sings mainstream music, clearly she's an attention whore" Not just the outfits. See how she acted at the Mets game last week? Or how she intentionally goes out of her way to make interviews as lame as possible, so people will in turn talk about how "weird" she is? She thrives on attention and people give it to her. It drives me up the wall. She can't let her music (which is catchy, but nowhere near as Earth shattering as people say) speak for herself, she has to turn herself into a spectacle wherever she goes.

But the same thing can be said for all those 80's bands, and pretty much any band in history. Look at Motley Crue, they looked interesting and had great music as well, it's just getting the whole package. Same with Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, KISS, Michael Jackson, and it goes on and on. We haven't had any musicians who have tried to look interesting in a long time.

I've said it before, but the only reason she gets all this attention is because everyone else is comparatively mundane in terms of style (which is still a reflection of the post-grunge era). The problem is that she's singing catchy but unengaging pop. The glam rockers, the punks, the new wave artists...they were all part of a movement and their look reflected it. She's...just dressing like every day is Halloween.

But that's my point, nobody else is trying (in America at least) to look interesting, Steel Panther looks interesting as well but they are a parody band. Again all it takes is one artist to start a "revolution" sort to speak, I mean Alice Cooper started the big theatrical rock, then KISS did, then Motley Crue did, so it wouldn't surprise me to see more people dress interesting. I understand the music is king, but why not take it and go the extra mile?

He died in '83, and if he stuck around, he would of likely been a big player in the music video era. He had all of the tools at his disposal.

I don't have any desire to meet Lady Gaga, but if I did I'd just tell her to ignore the minority and enjoy her success, as it's well-deserved.

Nothing. I don't really get hyped up for meeting celebrities. Ones that I appreciate I've usually just said something like "It's an honor and a pleasure" or "Thanks for </insert whatever they did here>." Considering I don't listen to Lady Gaga's music, I'd have nothing to say to her. I guess I could say "Hey, I went to Juilliard, too!", but she probably wouldn't care. That said, I'm still a bit peeved at her for acting like a jerk at a Mets game. I don't insult anyone else's religion, they shouldn't insult mine.

Screw you guys. I think Gaga makes good music and if I meet her in person, I'd give her a nice slap in her sweet round ass.
