Yeah, Nick is awful as AI. In the sense that he insists on CHASING DOWN everyone. It was worst, imo, on Chainsaw Massacre, because you know, they could almost all move far faster.
I do like the mode though. It's a bit frustrating but it gets you better at juking which will be great for Versus. By the finale, very few of us were getting pounced of jockeyed as two of us got really good at backing up or sidestepping and melee-ing then slicing. Plus, by that point there were four in the game and when I personally meleed a jockey or a hunter, someone else usually had the kill right after.
The only annoying this was dealing with a guy who was yelling about killing Boomers. They constantly got in your face and would scratch, so I'd rather just kill them and move foward. Or convincing people the best strategy for Tanks was not to throw a molotov and keep running but simply slice and dice the back.
Although by the final chapter of Dead Center, the Tanks seemingly just tried to destroy the first downed guy they got. I was even slicing one in the face at one point as I knew he was going to kill Ellis. ...and he did. Again, that was before I convinced everyone to slice and dice and they decided that since they were safe upstairs, they could just throw down more gas cans to "help"... only to die because AI is smart enough to take out two players fairly simultaneously. Or convincing people to get to the ground floor or a boarded up area in the Dead Center finale during Tank battles.

I hate to keep asking probably obvious questions about this, but aside from Juggernaut, do any of the MUA 2 downloadable characters get alternate costumes?

Carnage's looked pretty cool and Magneto's was only useful to get him out of that weird Leather Jumpsuit he was in

What's the kill count I have to get to to get them, and do I have to pick a side before even being able to get a count going?

Had a blast playing some Four Swordsmen but it's definitely frustrating. First go through, at the end of Dead Center I got charged right next to the car. Dude pumped in the gas and... somehow I survived (I think it was because I was on the "platform" and I hadn't yet been incapped.) Second playthrough, I was playing with a no micer who was fairly good and two others with mics who weren't that great. Luckily, they were good enough listeners and we got through it on the third try of the finale. Fourth tank was out with 12 in and the last gas tank was sitting on top of the information desk. I managed to pull off the jump from the kiosk nearby, grab it, sneak by the Tank and pump it in. If that wasn't enough, I then sliced a smoker, saved Rochelle and three of us survived. Sadly, Coach got knocked off the platform and incapped by the Tank in the last second or two. I'm assuming it is from the downright golderned butt-loving stupid AI, but myself and MaDaBa couldn't beat level 2 of Swamp Fever on EASY on 4 Swordsmen. Whenever a Smoker would lash you, they'd just WATCH! Whenever pounced by a Hunter... they'd just WATCH! Whenever a Jockey pounced... that's right... WATCH! You would try to maintain a decent tempo towards the safe room, they'd stand there and run around in circles. You would speed-run through, and they wouldn't take more than 5 steps out of the train. Valve REALLY needs to do something with the AI. After playing a bit of L4D1, the AI had it's own faults, but at least were semi competent, but I swear to all things Holy, Coach and Rochelle (or Ellis/Nick if you are playing as someone else... the whole AI system is a joke) are beyond inept, and, quite frankly, deserve the worst Tank-raping the game could possibly give them. Ah, just did Swamp Fever on easy, although I ended up with a full team (one of which is a guy who's a regular with me in Versus) Anyway, on one of the docks in the second or third level, laid a desert eagle they forgot to remove. It made the mutation quite a bit easier, at least when it came to about everything but Chargers.

Juggernaut's got like 300 I believe and Psylocke and Panther just have the regular number IIRC But Carnage and Magneto you have to special Sim missions and I forget what Cable's is

Currently playing Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Thus far, it's been really fun. I have been passing over some of the artifacts. I was curious as to if once the game is over you can go back through and freely roam all the locations?

I liked his primary one MUCH more, however.

In Hard Rain, you can grab a shotgun in the 3rd safe room. There's also a random chance of a 2nd-tier weapon (shotgun, uzi, etc.) strewn about in FAR out of the way areas, but the risk is too great to try. EDIT: I also liked the idea someone proposed that on the next "melee exclusive mutation", that it is just a HUGE number of common infected, and MAYBE a tank or witch just for that sake, but no special infected. I would be interested in trying that. Hard 8's next week is going to suck...

Just played through Hard Rain, sadly I found no guns, but I did find a hilarious exchange right before the game froze up loading the 5th chapter. CPU Ellis startled a witch fairly close to the saferoom, but enough distance that with the water we left him. As Coach, I clicked on him right before he died and Coach says "Check thiTUHELLIS!"
I had captions on, so it actually popped up "Check this shit out." "Touchdown!" "Ellis!"

So far, I really like Lego Potter (Though since I liked the other Lego games this isn't shocking). Definitely looks like I'm gonna be renting this a few times and might actually try to complete it.

Anyone else have a friend that's the cheapest motherf***er you've ever met? I get so bored playing against him now, because I know he's just gonna keep doing the same glitch bulls*** over and over and over and over. What's the point?

This is usually why I avoid most online stuff to begin with. Especially with games like Smackdown, where people just exploit the shit out of the spear.

I get so bored playing against him now, because I know he's just gonna keep doing the same glitch bulls*** over and over and over and over. Yeah, one of my friends is like that. Playing NHL or Smackdown (or King of Colosseum II on the PS2) against him is really annoying because he somehow always manages to find and exploit the most annoying glitches and gameplay flaws. With his "help" I noticed, for example, that if you time your running grapple attack in SVR 2010 just right when your opponent is getting up it is literally impossible for them to counter it. A certain amount of gaming rage ensued when he exploited this glitch (or maybe it's a feature, you never know with SVR) for the 54th time in a row. Also, his strategy in fighting games consists of 50% button mashing and 50% jumping around like a moron. In games like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 it works pretty well because I totally suck at that game myself, but at least in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (where he always plays as Stryker, of all possible characters) I usually manage to beat the crap out of him because I actually know most of the special moves.

According to a few sources, Hard 8 is "double spawn", meaning instead of spawning 1 of each special infected, they will spawn 2. Now, imagine the finale for Swamp Fever. 4 Tanks at once? No thank you!
