I think they'll close with Cena/Dave, but I also think that's a mistake.
They need to some diva garbage in between it for it to have any chance.

Yeah, if HBK/UT doesn't close the show, we riot.

HBK vs Undertaker will not close the show, WWE will never ever do that again. Its a tradition that the World Champion closes the show.
So I am for Cena vs Dave

Cena v. 'Tista will end WM26, with the last image being Bret Hart & Cena standing triumphantly after Bret locks in the Sharpshooter on Vince.

All I can say is that they had better not ruin Taker/HBK with shoddy commentary. (Taker/Edge from WM 24, anyone?)
As far as the two title matches go, I'll take anything over that HHH/Orton+Triple Threat schmozz we got last year.

I certainly hope Taker/HBK ends Mania. Anything else would be a travesty. Let's look at the stakes here: Two decades-long careers on the line or a couple of championship matches that, while they have the possibility of being better than last year's championship matches, can't outdo the potential of HBK/Taker II. The bookers would be fools to not end the show with Streak vs. Career.
As to Thunderstruck, they're using it as a cross-promotion with Iron Man 2 (on whose soundtrack said AC/DC song is on).

Actually, as I think about it again, there may be TOO much on the line for Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker to end the show. If Michaels loses, his career is over. If Taker loses, his streak is over. If it's a draw, as some have suggested might happen, it'll be sorta anticlimactic. Wrestlemania, the biggest show of the year, can't (or, well, definitely shouldn't) end like that.

come on dumbasses, tell me 1. Go to AskAMod to ask these questions not the bloody Mania thread. 2. You don't get answers by name-calling. Bad boy.

come on dumbasses, tell me You''re gonna make it real far on this board, kid.... Moving on. I totally agree that Undertaker/Shawn should close the show. We've seen Cena/Batista before, and Jericho/Edge really isn't anything THAT special, at least compared to Streak vs. Career. I'm always all for having the title match close out the show, but this year needs to be different.

I think Cena vs. Batista will close the show, it feels like a Wrestlemania main event to me the only problem is the buildup really. Thats the problem with the Elimination Chamber being there now, the build up to Mania seems to be only a month.
Personally I think WWE should cut their loses and have HBK vs. Taker as the main event then come back in a year, put the belt on somebody for more than 3 months and the title match might mean a lot more then.

I have to confess things right now...I'm not feeling this WrestleMania in the least.
HBK/Taker 2 will never persuade me that it's anything more than trying to recreate the magic of the last WM encounter, no matter how well the 'streak vs. career' stip is played up. Plus, I'm convinced that The StreakTM won't end EVER, and there's also the fact that 98% of the time, retirements don't last forever in wrestling.
Cena/Batista...they've pretty much completely telegraphed the fact that Cena will probably win. Ditto with Edge/Jericho. You just KNOW the faces are going to get their eventual retribution. But I do think Edge/Jericho will be a killer match...Cena/Batista, however, will more than likely just be a 'good enough' finisher fest with no real psychology, but with added Vince McMahon and Bret Hart.
MITB is always good fun, and I look forward to see who else will get in.
Not interested in what Orton and Legacy are doing...but I AM interested in whatever Triple H is doing.
However, I also have to confess that I haven't really watched much of any WWE lately (aside from NXT, and the HBK/Taker video promo.) Having said that, I WILL try to watch RAW tonight to see how they build things up. This week's WWE programming is really a make or break situation for me on whether or not I'll be interested in WM26, and in turn, WM26 is a make or break situation whether or not I'll be watching WWE throughout the spring/summer. If it seems like my viewpoint is way too jaded, that's because it probably is. ;D

Orton seems to be on his own against Rhodes/DiBiase. There's only man fit to stand by his side against Priceless: Its revenge time. ;D

If anything follows Taker/HBK, it going to feel really anti-climatic like when Jericho-HHH followed Hulk-Rock at WM 18.

I seriously feel like the Grinch at the moment as we're getting closer to Wrestlemania, because like Meatwad, I just don't care.
Let me start with Taker-Shawn II: This Time It's Personal. They had one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches of all time last year and I just don't think they can match it. Taker's deteriorated to the point he can barely walk, Shawn's lost a step as well, I can't see this match doing anything other than sucking in comparison. And the Streak V Career stip doesn't exactly make me wanna plonk $60 on this either, the WWE has weaseled out of "Loser leaves town/WWE/Must Retire" stipulations so many times in the past that for me they've lost all meaning, which basically means I have nothing to get excited about, add that to the feeling of dread I have it's going to blow and it's a nothing thing for me.
By the way for those saying it, this match CAN'T main event and it can't for one simple reason, the last match at WM is usually used to send the fans home happy, that ain't going to happen here. Either the streak ends and the fans are flat seeing the end of that era or it continues and the fans are flat for seeing the end of Shawn's career. There's no way to send them home happy and that's why it can't and won't main event.
Which brings us to the nominal main event. Batista-Cena. I didn't care at Summerslamfest. I don't care now. While he's improved to "mostly watchable" from "want to throw a brick through my tv", I still don't care for Cena and I really don't want to get behind him overcoming the odds again.
MITB: In just looking at the entrants so far, I don't care. It'll be an okay car crash match but it just has so much of the "Meh" factor to me.
Don't care about Orton, don't care about Legacy, REALLY couldn't care about HHH-Seamus
Which brings us to Vince v Bret. It would be okay but any match outside of Bret beating the hell out of Vince for 10 minutes and locking in the Sharpshooter is going to suck. It's just gone cold to me and I don't know if they can get it back.
There are only two matches so far that I can honestly say I'm looking forward to seeing, one confirmed, one not. Those being Jericho-Edge and Punk-Rey Rey. That's not worth $60, that's not worth getting excited about, that's not worth calling this even a good Wrestlemania. And yet I see so many people getting excited over it and I feel a little guilty and like I said like the Grinch. Have I become so jaded with wrestling that nothing excites me any more? Am I in the wrong for feeling this way? Should I just finally punch my wrestling fan card and give up? I just don't know and yet what I do know is this show just doesn't move me at all.
