"The Widowmaker" Barry Windham. This gimmick lasted like three months back in 1990.

British Bulldog, after, say, his No Mercy 1999 match with The Rock was a completely forgotten man.
Also, "Feats of Strength" Mark Henry of 2002, before he was jobbed out in no time to Brock Lesnar.

Man, everyone's listed all of the ones I would have said. Glen Kulka has to be at the top of the 'Nobody remembers his run at all' list.
Here's my best contribution, Akio and Sakoda as Tajiri's henchmen.

Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon? I mean, I'm sure quite a few people remember, but we're a special breed around here! Ask any casual, and I'm sure they'd give you a "WTF?" look.

Sorry if they've been mentioned before...
The Gymini Idol Stevens and... whoever his partner was (KC James?). They were managed by McCool. Nathan Jones' second WWE run Kid Kash was Cruiserweight Champion but I only remembered he was even there while clicking around on Wikipedia
