Too Cold Scorpio is my favorite one. I don't know who the best would be, but in my eyes, he is the most watchable.

Maybe not one of the best of all time but I've always been a huge fan of Elix Skipper, a great wrestler and a great athlete, he was one of the few guys who was still worth watching in the last days of WCW.

If I had to go with a clear cut #1 then I would have to say Ron Simmons. I think a lot of people forget that not only was Simmons a great singles wrestler but him and Butch Reed as "Doom" make a credible case for being one of the greatest maybe top 10-15 tag teams of all time. I would never put "Doom" on the Road Warriors level but they may have been the closest strictly power prototype team to the Road Warriors with the Barbarian and Warlord tagteam being an exception. It is hard for me to judge Simmons based off of WWE work when basically I felt like the WWE never utilized Simmons to his true potential like so many other wrestlers.
2A and 2B would be Ladd and JYD.
Then I would have to say Booker T and Rocky Johnson and Atlas.
Kamala and Abby were extremely high profiled wrestlers but seemed to be used more for being in various promotions from titme to time and not in anyone terriotory it seemed for any lengthy amount of time. (Which is ironic because to any knowledgeable wrestling fan Abby may be the most famous black wrestler aside from arguably Ladd.)
I will say though that wrestling wise from a technical standpoint that Booker may be the best.

Norman Smiley is a tremendous wrestler who never managed to break through in the States. Dude could probably have outwrestled 98% of the WCW roster he was on if it was legit.

I was about to say Norman. He is a legit Lancaster style wrestler on par with Fit Finlay and Regal. Too bad he was never a serious wrestler in the states.

Allen Coage, aka Bad News Brown. Judo champ and a prototype for Stone Cold. That's the first person I thought of. Also, how about Jazz? I always thought she was good, kind of came off like a tough old school lady wrestler. And now that I'm thinking of the ladies, Awesome Kong comes to mind as well.

Why wouldn't you count The Rock? Because he's half Samoan, and some people don't count someone as black if they aren't fully black or something.

This got me to thinking. Who was the first full black WWF/E champion?

This got me to thinking. Who was the first full black WWF/E champion? According to Wikipedia: Sonny King was a Tag Champion in 1972, which was the earliest I could find. Don't know his full ancestry though.

This got me to thinking. Who was the first full black WWF/E champion? It may have been Bobo Brazil, but I'm probably wrong on that. I heard that Sherri was 1/8 black but I'm not sure if that's true either. In addition to the names mentioned here I would like to add the following: Abdullah the Butcher Aja Kong (If Rock counts then so should she) Miss Jackie/Jacqueline Butch Reed ( I need to see more of his material. I hear he's great) Thunderbolt Patterson D-Lo Brown In terms of accomplishments (kayfabe and none), I would give it to either the Rock or Booker T, but in terms of in-ring work I would have to say either Norman Smiley or Too Cold Scorpio.

I'm getting a feeling it may have been Booker T In that case, Booker T is the one and only one. None have won a WWE championship. Booker's the only one to win the WHC, he got it in 2006. If you count the WWECW Championship, Lashley in 2007 and Mark Henry in 2008.
