When Hollywood Hulk Hogan defeated Triple H for the title at Backlash 2002, which camp were you in?
A) It was awesome to see the old guy, who many consider the greatest of all time, get one more short lived run with the belt.
B) It killed HHH's title run after his win at WM/ Hogan was older than HHH so therefore he should have put HHH over
C) Other
I was A.

I was in camp D: HHH should have put Jericho over at WM, Jericho beats Hogan at Backlash, with the Jericho vs. HHH HITC at Judgement Day being the point where the strap changes hands.

A. For just five minutes, I felt like I was a little kid all over again.

A. After the reactions he was getting a small 'Thank you' final run as champ was deserved.

I would have been in camp A. It was a short, inoffensive run.

Didn't bother me. Plus, it meant Hogan was the last champion in the 'WWF' era, which seemed fitting.
Plus, he lost it a month later. Maybe if he had held it for a while, it would've been remembered less fondly.

I was on Team Hogan.
I was on Team Undertaker the next month, though.
I think Undertaker is the only person to win the WWF/E Championship from Hogan more than once.

Never liked Hogan so I was hugely disappointed, especially since HHH face run was really getting good in my opinion and was enjoying him as a wrestler but that changed very fast as he soon turned heel and went on his reign of terror and haven't liked him since.

Yeah the only man that can bury Hunter in a man with the sam initials as him. Oh and the Ultimate Warrior.

I'm a huge Hulk-a-maniac but even I fell in Camp B.
It completely killed Triple H's momentum.
But I think there may have been a method to this madness as they wanted Hogan to be the last holder of the belt before they changed from WWF to WWE.

i cant remember the theme song to this ppv but it had something to do with "the man challenging the boy"
after hogans reception at wm 18 you had to know this title run was coming... I loved every minute of it

I was shocked to be honest I couldn't believe WWE would give him the title. I liked it though I thought it was cool.
Quick note: Hogan was the WWF/E Champion at the time of the first Live WWE Event I ever went to, headlined by Stone Cold vs. (a soon to be fired) Scott Hall. Hogan didn't appear on the night.

I was in camp D: HHH should have put Jericho over at WM, Jericho beats Hogan at Backlash, with the Jericho vs. HHH HITC at Judgement Day being the point where the strap changes hands. Hogan was so hot during that time it was right to give him the title for a short time. So if Jericho would have beat HHH at Mania, Jericho would have lost the next month to Hogan for the title. So the big pops and HHH return would have meant next to nothing since he wouldnt have had his "feel good moment" Option D kind of sucks in my opinion.

I have never been a Hogan fan while, though I'd soured on Triple H by tha tpoint, I did at one point in time like him so I was definitely pulling for Hunter.

Nethier. As far as I am concerened Hogans in ring career ended in glorious style ast WM18 against the Rock like it SHOULD HAVE DONE. As for Trips Jericho should never have lost the belt in the first place but you know with Hunter and Jericho in the same ring there can only be one outcome I guess

I didn't think Hogan should have got the belt.

I was just starting to turn on HHH at that point, so I was glad Hogan won. It was a neat little nostalgia trip too.
