i stopped watching RAW long ago, never returned the next week...so much for that stereotype, sorry guys Did you make a big thread about it? That's what the joke is. I've gone on eight, nine month stretches where I haven't watched anything WWE related at all. But I don't feel the need to make a big announcement about it.

I stopped watching RAW back in 1976. That whole bicentennial thing got us Americans all patriotic and s***. We didn't wrestling any longer. Then that whole Iran-Contra thing happened and maaaaan was I glad to have RAW back in my life.

Is it wrong I expect better from people around here? The guy in the original post made some valid points and the best we can come up with his stereotype him? Alright.
I'm kinda irked about the Batista situation, too. I was hoping Sheamus got a re-match.

I made an I'm done with Raw thread a month ago and I haven't watched it since. But, not to be a hypocrite, I did say I was done with Raw off and on for about 4 years but always came back.

They said several times that Sheamus was the only the won to win his match, so he deserved a shot.
Batista was rightfully wanting a shot due to be screwed and Orton thinks he's the best so wants a shot.

The premise about Sheamus deserving a rematch is valid, just wrapped in the 'I'm done' coating which as history has indicated time and again people will immediately pounce on. The discussion topic itself is a pretty interesting one.
Shame it was lost amid the same ol' same ol' or sniping at one another, predicated by what is, for better or worse a Pavlovian setup 'round here.
Just my .02
But yeah I think Sheamus deserves a rematch as well. Certainly more than ol Dave.

I went a good 3 or more years without watching Raw mostly because when I was in LA, I didn't have cable. I got by with Smackdown which I still feel is the far superior show primarily because there is less drawn out talking and more wrestling. I'm back watching Raw now because I'm back in Wisconsin and watching it at a friends house. The only reason I still stick with WWE programming is that I get some degree of pleasure complaining non-stop about how Trips and his wife are ruining wrestling, and each week I watch Raw or see the future endevored list, I like being proven right. If only I could predict sports scores with that kind of accuracy. As for the results of the draft and how it effects Sheamus, I feel like he has the most to gain from all of this. He might have to wait for his title rematch but he really is the only logical choice for a strong feud with Cena and a second, stronger title reign. We have seen Edge, Orton, and Batista vs Cena ad nauseum. If that will be the focus once again for an entire year on Raw, I would be surprised. But then again, "creative" never ceases to amaze me.

If one more person just quotes the first reply and doesn't add anything of substance, I'm locking this thread and removing posts from anyone who has done it.

Sheamus sucks. I'd rather see HHH, Cena, Batista, Edge, Jericho, and Orton go after the title OVER AND OVER AND OVER again than suffer through another god awful Sheamus reign....
And by suffer, I mean not watch RAW and find something better to do with my time. Like talking about wrestling online....oh wait...shit....

I never understood why some assume that anyone cares what they are or are not watching on Monday nights.
If you're not going to watch anymore, don't watch, but don't think anyone gives a shit about your one man boycott. We all know you'll be back next week.

I'm not your amigo, but I will be an acquaintance.
Anyway, I haven't watched RAW in about 5-6 months now. Not by choice because my cable got cut off, but I do feel it's a lot easier to follow it through the Internet and find the things that interest me on YouTube.
