Also, Hogan once claimed that he would make TNA the #1 wrestling promotion in the world. Really, he did.

It could be argued that TNA IS the #1 Wrestling Promotion on the world considering that WWE has made it obvious that they are in "Sports Entertainment" and not "wrestling". Even Vinnie Mac has made that distinction

Even Vinnie Mac has made that distinction That'd be kind of a laughable argument, though. What is clear is that they aren't wrestling anymore than TNA is, in the sense that "wrestling" would be greco-roman, catch-as-catch-can kind of wrestling. Professional wrestling isn't "wrestling" without a qualifier of some kind or another added, anymore than a fixed football game would be indicative of the actual sport.

The Rock Calls out Hogan on one of his delusions

Do we actually have links of Hogan stating these 'delusions' or is this just all 'news' and 'I read some where' or 'someone said that Hogan said this...' stories?. It also seems that as more time goes by more of these 'delusions' get's mentioned. Just seems when Hogan and facts get's mentioned on these boards no one ever posts links or videos of Hogan saying any of it. Sure he may have exaggerated about Andre (stating he died shortly after their WM 3 match) however shortly after really depends on what your talking about and the persons perspective. Calling six years(roughly) "shortly after" is not a matter of perspective. It's a matter of delusion. If I did something to a guy, and he died the better part of a decade later, I wouldn't say that whatever happened happened "just the other day". Exactly that is your perspective of the situation. He didn;t say 'the other day' he said shortly after' which may be his perspective. If he said the 'Andre next again day or a couple of days later' that would have been dillusional.

Why don't we start listing the delusions of Roddy Piper? Like his 15 year unpinned streak that doesn't exist or his recent one about Wendi Richter singing the National Anthem at Wrestlemania.

However how do we know some of theese 'whoppers' are not real life storys which the fans go 'must be lies it's Hogan'. The same fan's who point you in the direction of Flair and Hart's biography to read 'the truth'. Double standard in my book.

That Hogan was the first choice to play Randy the Ram Robinson in the wrestler. There is absolutely no way after seeing that film that the director would consider the star of Mr.Nanny and Santa with Muscles to play a role like that . To be fair, I've often read that Darren Aronofsky "had Hogan in mind" with the movie, not that he wanted Hogan to play Randy the Ram. I always took it that he pictured the Ram as a Hogan-esque pop culture phenomenon in the '80s who just couldn't give it up despite his life and body breaking down. But maybe he did have Hogan in mind for the role. I don't think it would have been a terrible choice, but it would be really hard to get sucked into the movie because of the constant "hey, that's Hulk Hogan!" factor.

Hey, wasn't the George Foreman Grill supposed to be called the Hulk Hogan Grill? But, unfortunately, Hogan was out grocery shopping when the Grill people called, so- instead of leaving a message, or calling back when he was available, or going through his agent who would have his cell phone number- they called George Foreman instead, and the rest is history.

How he recommended Undertaker to Vince after he played one of the bounty hunters in Suburban commando. Now I'm no historian or anything but I could swear I already knew who the undertaker was when I saw him in that movie.

The Rock Calls out Hogan on one of his delusions Ok. Hogan may be delusional. But he gets a million cool points for being a part of that. "Next time I wrestle the Rock, I'll wear my tootoo to the ring!!"

The same fan's who point you in the direction of Flair and Hart's biography to read 'the truth'. Double standard in my book. Agreed but you cant really do anything about that. Most people on here will always see Hogan as a evil man who lies all the time. Just look around the site, you cant find a single Hogan friendly thread.
