...who had a substantial career without any WrestleCrap-esque gimmicks or moments in it? I'm thinking anyone from Bob Backlund-era on, as going back before that would be difficult to place much of a history beyond basic results. Substantial career is a relative term, too (for example, I'm not sure I'd call Lesnar's career substantial), but is there anyone who had a spotless career in terms of Wrestlecrap?
I'm sure there's a handful, but I'm having trouble of thinking of too much right now. Potential examples:
The Rock (although Rocky Maivia sucked) Goldberg Rob Van Dam (although the InVasion sucked)
Ideas?

Rock - Rocky Maivia was indeed wrestlecrap, also had that comic book Goldberg - WM match vs. Lesnar was wrestlecrap and he appeared in Ready to Rumble RVD - December to Dismember ? Benoit - was in World War 3 97"

RVD has never had any crappy gimmicks. I'm not sure bad PPVs and stables he was more of a satellite member with should count.

The Ringmaster
The other 2 weren't really top tier guy, but I found Rude's feud with the Bossman just before he left, very crappy.

Goldberg's arrest angle during the Finger Poke of Doom qualifies as wrestlecrappy.
How about Chris Jericho? I can't think of anything crappy he ever did.

Didnt Jericho assault Chyna by breaking her thumb with a hammer? I remember that being quite stupid really.

I don't get it... When has HBK been in any wrestlecrap related gimmick and/or storylines/angles?

Aside from being at the crap-laden Wrestlemania IX, Ted DiBiase has pretty much come out unscathed.
And I can't think of anything bad I can pin on Kurt Angle.

REALLY? No, those shouldn't count. As I said, being a satellite stable member or being on a bad PPV shouldn't really count--otherwise everyone would be part of Wrestlecrap, which defeats the purpose. And his TNA run hasn't really been bad at all.
