They were obviously afraid that Stevie, would indeed, finally show them. /No Sarcism

Who else is praying Stevie comes out next week bragging about his win, bringing out another big name in ECW and (with interfearence) picks up another win; and this new gimmick can go for a while giving him an impressive winning streak.
EG. He beats Sandman after Striker interfears, Sabu after a Big Show run in (and I use the term loosely).

Not only will it give Stevie more air time but will also make up for all the years of jobbing he has done.

Thats right, Stevie Richards has won a match. A match that aired on tv. Over a non jobber. This is an unpresidented event, and not likely to happen again in our lifetimes. But we can now and forever more say, on this night, September 5th, 2006, we witnessed Stevie Richards come out on the winning end of a match. Won after Thorn hit Mahoney in the head with a cane. Stevie wins with an assist. Eh, a wins a win. A few victory laps around the ring, share a beer with Sandman. Good times.

It's been a good week for deserving people winning and jokes losing. Masters, Test, Knox, Torrie Wilson, and Eugene all lose while Stevie, Mickie, SuperCrazy, and Shelton all win. Thank goodness....
