Annapolis was pretty terrible. The trailers made it seem like it was gonna be a good Navy movie, with submarines and aircraft carriers and battleships exploding. Instead, it was a lame-ass boxing movie with not ONE SINGLE scene on a boat (construction yard doesn't count). They added more than a handful of scenes that weren't even remotely in the movie. It suuuuuuucked. Agreed 100%. When this was released, our theater had a deal where any active duty military members could see this for free. A bunch of us went. It sucked. It really REALLY freaking sucked!

Two main ones for me.. Click and The Dark Knight.
Anyone who has seen Click will no what I mean, and with Dark Knight, I thought it would be like previous Batmans.

The Phantom Menace for obvious reasons
THe Village because the trailers were not accurate in depiting what the movie would be about
Mr. Deeds (remake) I didn't expect to see Adam Sandler in a serious role in a largely unfunny film
The Happening it looked cool in trailers.......instead in was lame, boring, and made no sense

V For Vendetta - I thought it was going to be about Guy Fawkes and set in the 17th century!
No Country For Old Men - hyped up beyond belief by my friends, it just felt really drawn out
In Bruges - thought it was going to be soppy crap, turned out to be amazing

Grow Ups. It's Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. All of these men are funny. This movie was not funny.

Mysterious Skin. The Netflix summary tells you it's about a guy who thinks he's abducted by aliens, and a male prostitute. You go in expecting bizarre, you come out feeling like Gregg Araki just raped you.

Step Brothers was shockingly good I thought it was just going to suck because it looked stupid. BUT it was delightfully stupid and didn't take its self seriously at all. I second this, ended up enjoying it a lot. Thirded. Almost as good as Anchorman.

The Happening By all indication it was some sort of creepy, ghost/zombie filled thriller. Instead I had to spend 2 hours getting lectured on why humans are evil and killing the planet and that I should be "green". Also, Marky Mark played a douchebag. That movie SUUUUCKED.

Not a movie, but while listening to Colt Cabana's theme song, it went into Copa Cabana. I had never listened to the full song before, so I did. What I expected was some light hearted fare. What I got was an incredibly depressing story of a woman's life going to absolute hell. Yeah, Copa Cabana is one of the most depressing songs ever.
