Shouldn't we wait for WWE to release "Monday Night Wars vol.2". Featuring Gerry Brisco, Steve Lombardi and Harvey Whippleman discussing the war that set the wrestling world on fire....for 3 months. Mave Deltzer says it's "The most compelling 10 minute documentary WWE has released".

When you hear it so many times a day, it really stops being funny. And I actually expected a real book announcement, that would really be in stores that I could spend money and read like the last 3. But no, it's just one more thing I've heard countless times, in this case done by the guy in charge, and I am upset. I'm with Sin on this one. Aprils Fools was last month. This isn't funny to me at all. Come on, guys- i'm sure RD doesn't WANT TNA to go out of business, none of us do. We're just reflecting at the sheer absurdity of the situation, that the same people have seemingly learned nothing form their past mistakes.

I've started writing already. Here's the first couple sentences:
"Total Nonstop Action wrestling was supposed to die. Anyone with even a basic understanding of its inner workings knew this to be true."
As for those who are upset, hey, I don't want it to die! But as someone else said, those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it!

If they didn't learn, why, then, are they not in the same positions. I hate having to bring this up every single time, but no one has been doing the same things they were doing in WCW! Hell, Russo's probably been around longer in TNA than in WCW. If it honestly took 4 years for Russo to start getting bad at this point, that a goddamn relief! Hogan's not the same man who came into WCW. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash (who was there years before now) are not in the same domineering force as they were before. But NOOOOOOOOoooooooo, just cause they were involved, that makes it all the same and we have to bring up this crap every single day, even though it clearly frigging isn't! You know the time that everyone misses? Before Hogan came in to "trick Dixie and kill TNA", where everyone was loving Angle/Wolfe and Pope and all that?! RUSSO! WROTE! THAT!

The picture by its self is a little funny.
The fact that people are genuinely upset about it makes it even more hilarious.

THAT!To be fair, well, I guess not fair, Russo was usually part of the team, instead of the leader, if you get me. During the MEM angle, where the ratings were the highest ever, he was simply apart of a team that included Dirty Dutch, Double J and Jim Cornette as a contributer. When Russo was made the head guy, Dutch was fired, Jeff went home, and Cornette was fired, he took over the book and the ratings started going down. Angle and Wolfe was good though. It's also, like, a joke. If you want it explained, see, all the people involved with WCW during it's downfall, and who are on the cover of the book of this book are currently around during TNA's darkest period, where they got ratings lower then when they first started on Spike (and to say going up against WWE was the problem, WWE's ratings stayed pretty much the same after TNA left, and they've been getting shitty ratings as well). Anyway, too much ratings talk, I don't want to mess around with the weather if you get me. Like, I think Hall and Nash right now are great in TNA. But that doesn't take away from the irony and hilarity of the picture.

Why?!

Why?! Because the sad thing is...................it's true. Hall and Nash are your tag team champion. You are pushing guys who cant work (Rob Terry) or guys who were elsewhere and are not TNA guys (Jeff Hardy and RVD). You treat the guys that came before you like complete crap (AJ being Ric Flair and Abyss being Hulk Hogan). You take the one thing that hasnt been destroyed in the Knockouts division and turn that into more than a joke. TNA in and of itself has become a joke. It is what TNA marks should have expected when this happened and they were hyping it up to death. When you attempt to take away WWE's ratings when you arent damn ready, this happens. Anyone who wasnt blinded by TNA's assurances could see this was a failure waiting to happen and guess what, it was so take the gloating from those who were right like a man.

Okay, Sinister? Take a deep breath, calm down, and repeat the MST3K Mantra out loud. Besides, we all know the cover needs some work; like, replacing Nash and Hall with someone else (I personally suggest Dixie, just because putting Bubba on there would give him unwarranted publicity), since (afaik) they're not actually causing problems (that I know of). And if you really think about it, how long do you think it took RD to do it? I'm guessing... five minutes. Three to find the cover in an image format, thirty seconds to edit and save, and a minute and a half to probably chuckle heartily and/or scratch himself. And again, it's a joke. You have every right to not find it funny, but other people are going to, because in this odd way, things are becoming eerily similar. Anyway, Mr Reynolds, did Bryan jump at the chance to work on the book with you, or did he say no?
