Can Mike Check do the unthinkable? Can he survive and do what is the WrestleCrap Radio equivalent of Joe Dimaggio's 56 game hitting streak, or Cal Ripken's consecutive games played streak? Will he overcome the odds, and surpass Johnny 6's record for longest tenure as a TNA Correspondent in WC Radio history?
Here's the all-time standings as of today...
1) Johnny 6 - 127 days 2) Mike Check - 90 days 3) Nathaniel Edward Rodham Davis - 71 days 4) Stubby - 50 days Peter Gazer - 50 days 6) MegaTrolla - 43 days 7) The Crickets - 1 day David Lee Roth - 1 Day Sir Alec Heineken - 1 day

You know what would be interesting? If Mike Check had a son that was also a DJ but a stereotypical 80s hair metal type DJ. That would be some sort of twist.

Should Gazer's record REALLY count? I mean, how often did he actually really do the show?
Also, I got this nagging feeling the ghost of Nathanial will cost Mike his record.

I got a feeling he'll meet an unfortunate end during his Summer Tour.

I have a feeling something going to happen to him during his summer tour. Maybe RD serectly rebuild Johnny 6. I never recall him throwing out the remains. Last I heard he was still a pile at the Wrestlecrap HQ floor.

Mike Check is now under 40 days to break the record, and SPOILER....
...this week on WC Radio he'll be kicking off the Mike Check Summer Sizzler Spectacular by doing a live remote at a Star Wars Episode I:The Phantom Menace 10th Anniversary Party!!!!
Be there or be square a Gungan.

I predict the following: Mike will talk about hanging out with JJ Books and Darth Mole. Blade will ask if he lived a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. "Fascinating." "Hey. wrong sci-fi franchise, genius." Mike went to the original Star Wars showing while in the El Paso market. He will then do a bad Darth Vader impression. His daughter is a fanatical fan of the series and once had sex with someone in a Darth Maul outfit. RD will wonder if it was Blade or Don Mason. An excuse for another Don Mason story. "Did I ever tell you about the time when Don pleasured himself in his car in a drive-in of a family movie?" "With Ready Whip? Please tell me he had Ready Whip with him!" Sir Alec will argue with him over Obi-Wan. He will play Jefferson Starship.
