Less than a month after making his return to WWE, Jeff Hardy has the opportunity to wear WWE gold around his waist when he takes on Johnny Nitro for the Intercontinental Championship this Monday night on RAW.
The returning Hardy earned his title match when he defeated "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton last week on RAW. After the match, Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro told WWE.com that Hardy's unique in-ring style may actually hinder the challenger more than help him.
“Jeff Hardy thinks he can take the Intercontinental Championship from me. He thinks he’s a risk taker – maybe an adrenaline junkie, a thrill-seeker of sorts – but what he doesn’t realize is I’m smarter than that. I take calculated risks, he takes uncalculated risks, and that’s what’s gonna cost him his shot at the title,” declared a resolute Nitro.
Will Hardy's risk-taking cost him on Monday night? Or will Nitro's comments prove wrong? Find out on RAW.

Just don't give Nitro a microphone....
"Jeff Hardy wishes he was me...like all these people...cause, you want to be me and do what I do. Cause, being me would be, like, a dream to you, because I am me and you aren't!"

no, that's just almost all ECW matches. All of the ECW matches end in a DQ? Come on man, it's only like 3 or something like that every show, not all of them. ;D

Due to the participants, I'm having a really hard time caring. Atleast I'm looking forward to the SD spoilers this week.

The IC title hasn't meant jack crap since Randy Orton held it Amazing. You go from having Randy Orton as your avatar and sig at one point, to bashing him holding the IC title.

If I don't see a Corkscrew Moonsault by both competitors, I WILL be pissed.

As one other poster mentioned it'll end in a DQ with Melina interfering right when Hardy is about to win the title.
Then at Unforgiven they face off again, with Hardy capturing it.
The match might be good, but I don't really care too much for Nitro.

I dont see why everyone hates Nitro so much...he is really good in the ring. I know his title reign has been really subpar but what do you expect with the way the IC belt has been booked? At least someone other than Carlito or Shelton is competing for the gold. In all honesty I really like Nitro's in ring work and he is passable on the mic.

If it wasn't for the fact that there's a 99.999999999% chance that Melina is going to help Nitro retain, it wouldn't suck so bad.
But Jeff is most likely winning it at Unforgiven so it's not so bad.
On another note, anybody realize that 3 of the top 4 title holders have valets who help them retain their belts? And pretty much in the exact same way?

Yeah it's pretty sad, I would like all of them more if they could actually win matches legitimately....except Nitro, he needs to learn how to do a standing shooting star press very badly lol And yeah, no way Jeff is winning the IC Title tomorrow, at Unforgiven probably.

It's best not to think about those things, if you enjoy him, let that be enough. I'm a Hogan mark, but I could care less if people say they hate him or whatever, it's their opinion, no use in fretting too much over it. He's got a good look about him, but that's it, the guy's still relatively green, he came straight from Tough Enough, so he's got a long way to go, and I just think his push is a bit too soon, but that's my view on it.
