All I remember about it is that they had a match at No Way Out of Texas in February of '98 against the Godwinns, and I think they were involved in the tag team battle royal at WM 14. That's all I remember, though. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

They had just come off a WCW run as the The Amazing French Canadians. They were fired, or quit ( ), and Vince took them in for another run, probably as a gesture to Jacques for all his years with the WWF. But I don't remember them getting any mic time in '98, and between his huge bald spot and his weight gain, Jacques was looking WAY past his prime. Pierre stayed on for a while and was said to be in consideration for a singles push, but I remember reading that he got on management's bad side for starting backstage problems after Steve Williams knocked him goofy during the Brawl for All.

They're not the Mounties.
That about covers all the bases.

They were pretty much filler...didn't fit the attitude era at all...I agree, probs more a last hurrah to jaques and a try out for PCO and a possible singles push that didnt work.

a return nobody didn´t give a damn about, not Vince, not the bookers, not the fans
they wrestled at No Way Out and WM, plus getting jobbed out on RAW a few times (pre-Wrestlemania), I think around April they were gone for good (Pierre stayed around for a while with nothing to do, but didn´t get involved except for the Brawl 4 All)

Still thought jaques shoulda come back as manager for that team. even if the the gimmick was supposed to be more "French" to play off the french anti war complaints and resulting anti french sentiment during the start of the Iraq war. Jaques was a very underrated un-american heel given the goofy mountie costume with the quebecers in part one and was only so so as a single despite getting a solid push as the mountie (the RCMP lawsuit did NOT help) I also found him and ray's all american boys gimmick a hoot.

I remember Jacques came back at the Guest Referee for the Lance Storm-Mike Awesome Canadian Title match at New Blood Rising. And then Lance gave Pierre the Sakatchewan Hardcore International Title, that he held for about an hour.

I loved the Quebecers but if you missed their 1998 return.......you didnt miss much. Even when they joined WCW as "The Amazing French Canadians".......Their time had passed. I still hold out hope that Carl "Pierre" Ouelette will make a return to the WWECW and get a big push. Thinking of which, he'd be a good fit in ECW.

I went to Pierre's OWW site and it clearly shows him wearing a blue top. So, at some point (circa: ?) that you are infact right.

the Quebecers did fantastic double team moves... they had a good tag match in 98 against Terry Funk and Cactus Jack... I think the match was a no contest

Wasn't Pierre around in Lawler booked PPW in 2000? I thought for sure he would get another wwe run.
Quick question: That eyepatch Pierre wore wasn't real right?

Didnt scorpio and Farooq tag for a bit too? I remember Scorpio making his WCW debut as Ron Simmons's tag team partner, so it's possible he was teaming with Faarooq in the WWF at some point. Wasn't Pierre around in Lawler booked PPW in 2000? I thought for sure he would get another wwe run. Quick question: That eyepatch Pierre wore wasn't real right? I heard it was legit, but I don't remember the story. Maybe an accident while training?
