I saw the Battle Royal at the end of the episode. It was almost a sensory overload with all the explosions and stuff, I lost track of what was going on. It was certainly exciting, but if it's gonna be like that all the time I don't see myself getting hooked into their stories and being like 'I can't wait for next week'.
It was more like watching one of those high speed police chase shows than a wrestling show.

Well, it seems that WSX isn't the most loved thing in the world right now. But, I really don't think that we should judge it this early in the game.
After only one show, a lot of us seem to be dusting a spot on the Gooker shelf for it. How can we judge something like WSX after just 30 minutes. Give it a few weeks to show us what it's got. If, after about a month, you still think it's garbage, I'll happily listen to you say so.
I personally thought that the first show was pretty good. I would have been awesome if it weren't for the Star Trek-esque shaking camera after every cheesy explosion.
The action was solid. The matches were fun to watch. The wrestlers, excluding New Jack & the rookie Youth Suicide, were talented guys who knew what they were doing. The only real flaws were the announce team (I hate Kris Kloss with a passion), the ring announcer, and the aforementioned shaking camera and explosions.
I can't wait for next week. I got a slight fix going to the WSX website and watching a bonus match (a three way between Puma, Human Tornado, and Luke Hawx) that was awesome. Now, I just have to wait a few more days and get more.
Hey, at least it's better than ECW right now. I don't feel the urge to change the channel when I watch WSX.

Actually although I diddn't really like WSX it was better than ECW. I mean Test vs Lashley is less exciting than watching paint dry!

Yeah, that's my feeling. ECW was great hardcore action that had meaning behind everything that happened and had actual WRESTLING. WSX is just garbage incarnate. I don't wanna step on any toes, but I watched the original ECW and while I was a big fan of it, I can't help but notice that people seem to think it was the perfect promotion or else a lot better than it was at times... Credible as a credible World champion? 'Cmon. Oh, and there wasn't meaning behind everything. There was a lot of undercard filler tossed in on every show including PPVs. Granted, the filler was better than what's currently being offered as filler, which I think is a lot of the reason everyone remembers it so fondly. Anyway, I don't wanna go on a huge rant on this board, but what I meant was that WSX kept me entertained, much like ECW did. The wrestlers for the most part were busting their butts out there like they did in ECW. I thought it was a better TV show than ECW has been as of late, that's all. And I know that's all that WSX is... a TV show, not a promotion. i thought justin credible was a good world champion.

Yeah, WSX is easily my front runner for Gooker 07 as of right now. WHY?WSX is so awesome! EXTREMELY Cheesy and campy, sure, but awesome non-the-less.

I'd also like to thank RD and Blade for completely disagreeing with me on this week's WCR and calling the show "AWESOME."
