I have tapes from 1989/1990 (taped off CV rentals) that have the same thing. For some reason, the audio is turned down while the volume of the crowd, music, and Fink is turned way up, so I can hear Fink during the intermissions while Gene Okerlund is doing backstage promos. I don't know why that happened.

22 no doubt, really got you ready with all the big moments and stuff... www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqf_LZd4TycThere it is if anyone wants to see it. 14s was cool though, was basic even though I usually like big video packages with music and big editing and stuff, it was cool how they were talking about how people said tradition was gone from WWF but really it was still with two men fighting for the title and stuff...

Too bad it didnt include the entire intro with Vince running down the card Man, I loved it when Vince used to do that. Got you so pumped up for the event.

Last years mania , i missed cause i was in the hospital with a perferated bowel recovering from surgery wondering if im going to live or die, my friedn though made acopy of it off his dvd recorder and gave it to me in the hospital, that opening was touching and i was crying looking at the new and old tradition
my second favorite is wrestlemania 20 where at the end of it it shows and it all begins again and 3 generations of mchmhons standing beside each other, that was very emotional too.

It's weird, I always thought Vince sounded completely forced while announcing, but had so much passion when doing PPV intros. Gorilla/Ventura can't be touched in the booth, and Vince can't be touched with intros. He was just brilliant at that.

No one has mentioned WM 21 yet? ? All the WM goes hollywood trailers intermixed with each other and ending with the new Stone Cold one is definately my favorite WM opening.

"I can still hear the echoes of them cheering my name..."
"...but I cheer for them now."
Gets me every time.

Except for the fact that he doesn't say "horses". He says "forces". Hence why he says "but of all these forces". Could be, but it still sounds like "horses" when I hear it, and there's a shot of a horse looking thing as he says it as well. Though "forces" would make more sense. Not a big deal either way. Lol, there is no "could" about it, its forces. Not horses. Horses? Lol.

I liked XIX, simlar to X8 but it had the line "WrestleMania is the chance to live forever...." while showing Andre, just seemd a bit more inspirational.
Plus I'm kinda tired of hearing Austin say "Adrenaline" for what seems like 25 times in the X8 opening.

WrestleMania XX with the whole Where It All Begins...Again. And Vince holding Shane's baby.
Second would probably be 22. That Shinedown song was great. I just wish it was the only theme. I hate Peter Gabriel.
As much as people here seem to hate on Saliva, Ladies and Gentlemen is a perfect song for a montage. This year's intro will be good.

Star and Bars Wrestlemania 7 with the drum beat. It had the stars flying in. Slaughter and Hogan go "Grrrrrrrrr"
