Yea, and he killed my push. Said I was too small to be a main event fan. I was stuck watching Velocity That's freakin' hilarious. I have the same birthday (August 31) as Jeff Hardy and Animal Hamiguchi. That's also the birthday of Richard Geere, Chris Tucker, and a bunch of people who don't matter. Is the one about HHH being JoJo's uncle really true? I want proof dammit! Well her last name is Levesque, so I guess it's possible. -Chui

Jake "The Snake" Roberts is a big Pink Floyd fan. Andre the Giant was offered a contract to play for the Washington Redskins... but turned it down because he could make more money wrestling (in 1972).
Knowledge is power!

I share a birthday (Nov. 27th) with Jimi Hendrix and Bruce Lee... Also the date of the 2005 Survivor Series in Detroit (i'm so geeked it's ridiculous)
Now these may or may not be true...
- There are actually 3 El Hijo Del Santo's touring the U.S. but they schedule themselves on different days in different parts of the country to make mucho crazy cash...
- Kevin Nash was originally contacted to play Sabretooth in the original X-Men movie, but he couldn't due to prior engagements (the rumor goes he was actually too out of shape)
- There was an online petition to get Lash Leroux cast as Gambit...
- Chyna was originally rumored to be playing the T-X in Terminator 3...
- You can see Samoa Joe's boob flop in Corporal Invader's Avatar if you watch closely...
- Terry Funk beat a lot of ass in Roadhouse and Over The Top...
- Big Show was discovered by Hogan while bouncing at a bar, and during training, was actually pretty proficient at doing a moonsault, but Hogan quickly put a stop to it, telling him big guys shouldn't be climbing the turnbuckles, let alone doing flips...
- Jericho's name in WWE was almost changed to Excalibur because of possible copyright infringements on WCW...
- Originally, Triple H was supposed to win the King of the Ring that Austin won, but because he broke kayfabe with the rest of the Cliq on Hall & Nash's last house show with Shawn Michaels, WWE punished him because Nash & Hall were gone and Michaels was the world champ... Thus introducing the world to Austin 3:16...
- When Big Show jumped on the casket when the Bossman was dragging it away, it was completely improv, and WWE decided to keep it...
Let's see if anyone can separate the fact from fiction (there's some of both there)...

I don't know if you guys have ever used Wikipedia to look up info about wrestlers, but its chock full of interesting stuff. Here's a bit I found, probably not worth anything, but interesting. Gorilla Monsoon made so much money as a wrestler that he was able to buy shares of the WWWF when Vince Sr. owned it. When Vince Jr. took over, Gorilla agreed to sell Vince Jr his shares in exchange for lifetime employment.

There was an indy guy in NCW who's name was "Heavy" Max Fury, a mix of Ken Shamrock and Crash Holly in terms of gimmick, and his claim to fame was that he weighted allegedly over 2000 pounds. He even had a shirt.

the montreal screwjob happened on my birthday (just not the same year) isn't your birthday every year?? Jake "The Snake" Roberts is a big Pink Floyd fan. Imagine that....explains a lot. here's some useless info.... Jake's dad is former wrestler Grizzly Smith, and his half siblings are Sam Houston and Rockin Robin.

also:
- Andre the Giant once fell asleep during a match with Big John Studd
