Am I the only one that thought perhaps the Cruiserweights are getting a push? Stay with me here, but putting the belt on Juvi was a start. Nunzio is capable of great matches, and that match at No Mercy might have even saved that PPV had the WWE done ANYTHING to promote it other than a No. 1 contenders match online. I mean, hell, use Mysterio. He weights about 150 pounds, but some meaning back to that belt. Watching TNA gives me reason to think that WWE will try to no so much copy the X-Division, but rather tone it down. (You have to admit, constant highspots leave you jaded.)

That's why I would like more cruiserweights as tag teams. The high spots are meant to seem devastating. Only in tag matches where the partner can make the save can you have frequent high spots without ruining credibility. I have only watched two TNA episodes so far, so I won't pass judgement on the X-division yet. That being said, I have seen a lot of spot-heavy matches over the years that were both visually stunning and uninteresting at the same time. I watch for the drama and the psychology of the matches. The WWE does that ok sometimes, but it really depends on the performers. The thing that is missing nowadays is great color guys. Tazz is getting there and Matthews is almost capable of doing a broadcast by himself at times. I myself am only interested in a cruiserweight division if they have a good variety of styles. WCW did have that once, as did the GWF before them. If you don't have that, put them in with the rest in order to present a variety in those matches. They've had cruiserweights in the heavyweight division before and they've done decent when given a real chance. After a while you never heard about the size of X-pac, Jericho, Melenko, and a few others. No, you can't push everyone in the same style as Rey, but his success, along with others (especially Jericho) should indicate that they can succeed in the ring with the others.
Wow, that went from point A straight to point Z.
