I was watching The Unforgiven with the 6-pack challenge and Jerry Lawler makes reference to an Inferno match that Kane lost on "last thursday."
There was another Inferno match? And Kane lost AGAIN?
To quote Jerry after that, "How many times do you think Kane has been on fire?"

I miss inferno matches. Really I do.
They were goofy, sure, but gah they looked badass, the ring all on fire and such.

There was one in which Taker and Kane fought again. This is when following the match Paul Bearer had that box he gave to Vince which had that teddy bear in it and Taker then lit it on fire and handed it to Vince who was on his knees crying on the ramp.
The one Lawler is talking about happened on SD in Dallas right before Unforgiven. Triple H had to go through everyone's specailty gimmick match, and he fought Kane in an inferno match. He also had to face Mankind in a boiler room brawl, Taker in a casket match(which turned into Mideon and Viscera vs. HHH), Rock in a brama bullrope match, ect.

I hated the sound effect that you would hear when the guy with the board would put the fire up. I mean at one point he was in plain sight, couldn't they have hid him in someway? EDIT: It kind of ruined it for me.

I never noticed the guy lighting up the thing, but I mean, come on, there was fire around the ring! ..I'm a pyro.

There have been 3. 1) Unforgiven 1998 (Taker vs. Kane - Taker wins) 2) Raw in Feb-Mar. 1999 (Taker vs. Kane - Taker wins) 3) Smackdown in Sept. 1999 (Kane vs. HHH - HHH wins)

Well, I don't know if you wanna count it since it was WCW...
But don't forget about the infamous Vampiro/Sting inferno match.
