Chono is in way worse condition than Kobashi. There's nothing he can do as far as recovery goes. His back is permanently damaged (and badly). He only wrestles once every couple months now.
Kobashi's recovery is going a lot better than expected. So I think he should have most use of his right arm back soon. He's been training hard since March, probably five or six hours a day in the gym from what I hear to stay in shape and get his arm going again.
Kobashi vs. Taker would be great but I think it would be most effective in tag team form, possibly Kobashi and Muto vs. Tenryu and Taker. Tenryu is in incredibly good condition for a 60 year-old man. I can still see him going for years.

Am I the only one who doesn't view this as a dream match? It seems like a match that would be big, no doubt, but not quite as epic as some others mentioned. Besides, they have had a match before (even though it was a while ago). WIth the shape Taker is in I don't.

Haku vs Meng in a mirrior match. Al Snow managed to fight himself so Haku could probably do a good job of it too. Yeah but Haku could do it and still look like a badass in the process. Although with my friends that watch wrestling and I the Al Snow moment is pretty epic.

Besides, they have had a match before (even though it was a while ago). The guy who never lost a one-on-one match at WrestleMania vs. the guy who never lost at WrestleMania. Would work better though if Cena had never lost at WM 24.

The only real dream matches from the 1990's are Sting vs (Insert WWF/E big name guy). Sting is the only real big name in wrestling from that era to have never worked in WWF/E ever.
So I think that Sting vs Taker, Sting vs Austin, Sting vs The Rock, Sting vs HHH, and Sting vs HBK I would say would run the gambit of Sting matches vs WWE guys.
As far as TNA vs WWE cross over matches I say there are some very good ones but nothing like the dream matches from WWF vs WCW (I would argue with my friends so much about who would win Goldberg vs Austin circa 1998).
That being said here are a few TNA vs WWE matches I would like to see (Sting excluded).
RVD vs CM Punk (RVD big pot guy CM would mesh well with that) John Cena vs Samoa Joe AJ Styles vs John Cena (Franchise vs Franchise guys) Kurt Angle vs Jack Swagger
