I know you've been rocking the long hair and reflective sunglasses for decades, but I think it's time you spent a few minutes in the barber chair. You look strung out. The hockey jersey I can handle. I've been known to wear one myself. But the jorts? Come on, man. You're GM now. It's time to start dressing the part. I'm not saying suits...because let's face it, you're not quite the suit kinda guy...but a pair of khakis, perhaps a nicer pair of shoes wouldn't kill you.

Wasn't he wearing full length jeans last night? Or did I miss something?

His hair does look stringy, I'd at least wet it, but still keep it. He's not really going to stick around long as GM is he? I like him, and it's cool he's on, but I just don't see him doing this long, but I dunno.

He reminds me of Mike Star from Celebrity Rehab. Who still wears the leather jacket, flannel shirt and long shorts even though he hasn't been in Alice in Chains for 15 years.

He looked rough last night, a lot like he did the night he came back, due in large part to his hair but also just a sort of wearinesss. His appearance seems to vary, though. Like about 3/8 of the time he looks rough like he did last night, 3/8 of the time he looks sort of OK (not great but not like "oh wow he looks awful"), and about 1/4 of the time he looks foiiiinne in like a weird old man kind of way. Wetting the hair helps. Glasses help too. But to me it seems to be demeanor more than anything.

At what age does your hair go all horrible and stringy?
Triple H and The Undertaker have the same thing as Bret with their hair.

Bret's hair has always looked like that, it's just that we're used to seeing it wet.
Also, I hope he doesn't cut his hair or change his look - even if it is very '90s. He just wouldn't look like himself anymore, and I'd rather see the Bret Hart I'm used to.

At what age does your hair go all horrible and stringy? Triple H and The Undertaker have the same thing as Bret with their hair. It's a combination of natural balding and damage from bad hair dye, I think. You'll notice Kevin Nash doesn't have it. Given all that Bret has faced, I think he looks about as good as we might expect. He had a bad stroke, after all. That leaves its marks on your face. Also, he wouldn't be the same in khakis and a button-down shirt. He's Bret Hart; the leather jackets and jorts are part of his persona.

Nash's hair is awesome.
As for Bret... I don't know. I think he'd look a little more badass if he cleaned up for the role, but he might also look silly. It's probably better to keep what he's got.

Actually..I dig his look. Rocker Jacket, faded shorts, Aviator Sunglasses. (Got a pair myself.) I just can't see him with another look. He doesn't strike me as a suit and tie type.

He does look awful. He looks like a homeless bum with sunglasses.

Bret Hart in khakis? I refuse to let Bret Hart become a douchebag and wear khakis.

Bret Hart in khakis? I refuse to let Bret Hart become a douchebag and wear khakis. Khakis don't mean you're a douchebag. It means business casual.

Bret's look is fine. He's in his 50's and had a stroke, so obviously he won't look as healthy as he did in his prime. But to change his look would be wrong for the character. It'd be like Hogan coming out in a suit all the time...it just wouldn't look right.

Wrestling's had a "suit overdose" for generations now. The Bret Harts of the industry are kind of a breath of fresh air, along with HHH when he wears biker gear.

Man, I'm just agreeing with you all over the place today. Though that's nothing unusual. But yeah...I like how Bret dresses, and I think the long hair looks fine.
