How do you think people are going to react? How will YOU react? What's the aftermath going to result with?
I know it's an unsettling subject to talk about, but this has been lingering around my mind for a while now.
Discuss.

Was never a big Beatles fan but as someone who was raised on the Yellow Submarine movie I think even I will feel it as it will be a peice of my childhood dying.

When the last Beatle dies sales for their albums will go through the roof, and they shall officially from there on out take up the mantle of the best band to ever exist in the history of ever The Beach Boys and Rolling Stones will be 2nd and 3d in their era but much like Elvis The Beatles will be in a class by themselves.
As for how I'll react. "Well the last Beatle is dead, that sucks." Personally I think its pretty crazy the way that some people go total ape when an entertainer dies. Yeah its sad that they died, and they made some great music/movies/TV that really touched me, but I'm not going to go into a state of mourning over a person that I've never really known. I'll give them respect, and miss their work, but I'll never understand how people can have genuine grief for a person who never even knew they existed, or had personal relationship with them.

For me, I get bummed out by celeb deaths because even if I never met them, they were often a daily part of my life, via tv, radio etc. I don't think I'll go into a state of depression, but I'm sure I'll tear up, or out and out cry over the tributes that are shown looking back over their lives

I'll be horribly sad, and I'll cry. I'll miss them just as much as I miss John and George. I hope that it doesn't happen for many years, though. I hope they get to live long as hell.

I've gotten to a point where I will admire people for their talent, but I can't really establish any type of emotional bond with someone I've never met before. Maybe its because every living "hero" I had as a kid save for my uncle came crashing down to earth at some point. I think mostly though its because I know that I will always have the music/characters/art that they made, and that I love. When Silvester Stallone goes it will be a sad day for Hollywood, but I'll still have Rocky, and Rambo as young lively and spry as they ever were. Same with songs, books, and art. I can enjoy great work and appreciate the unbelievable amount of talent that it took to bring it to me, but at the end of the day I never really knew any of the people who brought it to me. At best my relationship with most celebrities is a lose partnership. They create a product, and if I like it I will consume that product. I guess to me the death of a celebrity isn't much different then the death of a guy like Orville Redenbacker. However I can see how some people do forge an emotional bond with celebrities since most celebs sell their products with their faces, voices, thoughts, and emotions. So yeah I can totally see how people would form a bond even if most of those words thoughts and emotions celebs are displaying aren't real.

Looking at Ringo, I would not be shocked if he outlived me anyways.

Looking at Ringo, I would not be shocked if he outlived me anyways. Yeah Ringo seemed like he got to a certain point decided he was old enough, and has actually started getting younger these past few years. Maybe Ringo won't die he'll just become unborn.

Does that mean his wife gets younger too? Because I would not mind seeing more Spy Who Loved me look to her.

I'll be devastated when Paul dies, as he's one of my favorite artists of all time, even away from The Beatles. As for Ringo, IF he dies, it'll be sad, but given that the man has seemingly not aged in the past decade at least, I'll be shocked if it happens.

The greatest reunion concert of all time will occur in the afterlife. For sure man, for sure. It's a damn shame The Beatles couldn't have gotten together for a one-off show before John's death.

I honestly don't think it will be a big deal to most people under 50. The Beatles are the Babyboomers heroes.
I love their music and all but they havent done anything in like 30-40 years. I wasn't alive when Lennon got shot.
Michael Jackson and the MtV generation are my heroes- I would be more effected when Mr T dies than Ringo or Paul.
