I absolutely love this movie. I find it absolutely hilarious. Anyone else agree?

Didn't really do much for me, and I'm a huge Tim Burton fan. Maybe it's just because I'm not too big a fan of the old alien invasion B-movies that it was based off of, so the subject matter didn't really resonate with me. Overall, though, it was pretty meh to me.

I loved it a lot. Though I can definitely see it's one of those that there's not a lot of middle ground on opinions, you either really like it or don't care for it at all.

I remember watching this as a kid. Scared the piss out of me. It was a good movie though.

Loved watching it as a kid. Watched it again a couple of years ago and I still like it.

I absolutely love this movie. I find it absolutely hilarious. Anyone else agree? I don't get why so many people hate this one. It's a big blockbuster with lots of weird action, dumb humor, and a bunch of celebrities getting taken down a peg. It should've been one of the biggest hits of all time.

I went to the Tim Burton exhibition in Melbourne recently and they had some of the alien models in a glass case and the "Alien Anatomy" poster. I remember seeing it at the cinemas when I was a kid and the only part that really scared me was when Jack Blacks character gets killed and when the President got killed.

I wanted to like it, i really did, but it's just kinda meh. There's not much to it really. It wasn't particularly funny. Some cool visuals, but not much else. I saw the trailer and thought it looked awesome, but the movie itself just didn't have enough about it. You can't really expect a lot from a movie like that, but the whole 'outlandish creatures running amok and causing havoc' thing was done so much better in movies like Gremlins and its sequel. I might've liked it more if i'd seen it as a kid.

I like Tim Burton but Mars Attacks was awful and still is.

Mars Attacks is amazing. To this day I keep a Slim Whitman CD handy, just in case.

Wasn't the old trading card set a lot more serious and darker? Seems like I remember Jerry Only saying something about that when he talked about their song, "Mars Attacks," which they'd hoped to get onto the soundtrack.

I was still a kid when the movie came out and my parents watched it with me... Scared the living SHIT out of me! The way those aliens looked just terrified me... And still does The movie itself didn't scare me too much, I don't think, but those aliens, man. Those were scary looking f***ers. I was so terrified that I never watched it again. Still only saw it that one time. My parents gave the movie to me as a gag gift several years ago and it's still in the plastic wrap :B Maybe I'll watch it with my friends later this year so they can laugh at me hiding under the covers.

I still believe it to be one of Tim Burton's vastly underrated flicks. It's hilarious and awesome.

Loved, and still love this movie. It's over the top and ridiculous in every way, but that adds to the awesomeness of it

I loved the movie. There's really not much else to say.
Jim Brown boxing an alien is a great scene for cinema.
