My 1st episode of Psych was when Cena guest starred. I've been a fan ever since.

These are the things I like about the show.
- Shawn and Gus's camaraderie is maybe the best on tv right now, and maybe even the best portrayal of how friends actually act on tv, period. Big ups to James Roday and Dule Hill for their acting.
- Carlton Lassiter is a great character. Timothy Omundson absolutely nails the character, and he might actually be my favorite character in the series.
- Maggie Lawson. She's unbelievably cute.
Amongst other things...I love the show, and its one of the few things on tv now that I'll take time to watch.

I think Roday and Hill are real life friends now.

Hell, if thats the case, even better.
Oh, one thing I forgot;
- Shawn and Juliet's relationship. Major props to the writing crew for not pulling the trigger on these two right away, and its maybe the best "will they/won't they" situations I've ever seen on tv.

I used to love the show...
For some reason I haven't caught a single episode of this season. I am hoping USA Network's website still uploads the shows so I can catch up when I have time, though I heard they completely ignored the season finale of last season.

He directed the Friday the 13th episode Tuesday the 17th and did an interview for the FT13 documentary as well as taken part in one of the episodes of Fear Itself with...you guessed it, Maggie Lawson. He does rock a lot right now. Back to the show, word has it that the show will return in November for the second half of the season. I also found out that a new Xmas episode will air in the middle of December, an homage to the classic, It's A Wonderful Life. Cool.

I think they worked Roday's love of horror films into Shawn's character, as I know in the early seasons every episode Shawn made at least ONE horror movie reference and in one episode when he didn't make a reference for most of the episode, Lassie was like, "What, no obscure '80s horror movie reference?" and Shawn immediately quips back Night of the Comet. I was giddy when I heard that as I LOVE Night of the Comet!

I disagree, I've loved this season. I think it's been a very strong season. But I beg you Psych writers, you're going to have to reveal who Mr Yin is, do not for all that is good make it Kurt Fuller. The guy has been amazing as Woodrow the creepy coroner, you can't lose him. Agree, Agree & And again Agree Also I want Henry gone from the police force, he's become annoying That's been the one thing I haven't liked about this season. It's only worked twice, the episode with Freddie Prinze Jr when Lassie unveiled his crap list, and the Fast and the Furious episode. The rest of the season Henry working for the force hasn't really worked for me. My 1st episode of Psych was when Cena guest starred. I've been a fan ever since. Funny thing is, I think that's one of the weakest ones they've done. Part of that may have been me expecting too much, but I was disappointed with how they used Cena. They didn't take advantage of the fact he's funny, he had the line about Enemy Mine and constantly calling Gus "Ghee Buttersnaps", but beyond that he didn't get much comedy to work with. They really should have given him more comedy to work with. I used to love the show... For some reason I haven't caught a single episode of this season. I am hoping USA Network's website still uploads the shows so I can catch up when I have time, though I heard they completely ignored the season finale of last season. They haven't ignored it. In the first episode Jules was still dealing with what Yin had did to her. Granted that and Henry working at the station are really the only things that they've brought up from the finale, but I don't mind it. It's Psych, it's not supposed to have an overall arc to it. I kind of like that they haven't brought Yin up, it keeps you guessing as to who Yin is. The problem they could fall into with a storyline like Yin and constantly bringing it up, is that they could make it obvious who he is. I thought after the 3rd season finale (the first episode dealing with Yin Yang), that Yang had an accomplice and it was Mary. Of course I turned out to be wrong. And after the 4th season finale (2nd Yin Yang episode) I was thinking that Yin was Shawn's mom, but Andy Berman tweeted that it wasn't Shawn's mom. I'm thinking right now it might be Shawn's uncle. We know that Yin is fond of Shawn, and has met Shawn when he was a child. It's somebody that Shawn has crossed paths with. The 2 biggest clues are that Yin is freaking bugnuts. We know that from what Yang said, and Yang never lied to Shawn, she flat out said Yin was crazier than her. And Reginald has to be a big clue. Everything Yang said in the season finale had a purpose, and helped Shawn and company with Yin, except for that. The writers wouldn't put in Yang saying "Roll the ball back Reginald", if there wasn't a point to it. I think that's the most important thing we've gotten about Yin.

God, my buddy just opened me up to this show and its AMAZING! I love the wrestling references, the 80's references, I love the fact that they acknowledge they're referencing 80's references and there's great continuity. Also, Lassiter's interaction with the two of them is great. He's got a strange relationship with Gus that's slowly but surely developing.
The only thing that I'm kind of sad, like most of you have said is how Henry is interacting this season. I feel like with him being here, we see less of Lassiter, who's a great character. I think Henry was awesome where Shawn was constantly ripping on him for his style of his attire and the metrosexualization of his character. Also, I miss exchanges like these ones:
Henry Spencer: [Henry leans in very close] Are you busy on Saturday? Shawn Spencer: You want me to come with you to awkward class?

Yeah, I haven't liked Henry being at the police station that much this year either. I thought he would take the place of authority for the Chief in some episodes and whenever they didn't want to come up with another reason for Shawn to go home or run into Henry when he's out fishing. But I think Henry's taken over some of the antagonism at the police force from Lassie. Also, ::whispers:: I feel like there's been an overboard of meta references this season. Maybe it's bothering me because I'm also watching season 2 again, when it was played slightly straighter. Still love this show, especially for Gus and Shawn's friendship. Yay for the return of the Christmas episode! Really? Cripes, how much does it rock to be James Roday, huh? It rocks a lot. Dude has a hot girl, and he's the main star on one of the best shows on TV currently. So he's making bank, and he's getting the poon. Roday rocks because of his hair. It's fab. All those jokes about Shawn and his hair? They're right.

I like the jabs at his big nose more than the hair jokes.
Awesome. And it's pretty cool that Shawn is just an extension of James Roday.

I've loved this show since the first episode. It's pure awesome.
Shawn and Gus are the best best friends in TV history.
