With Kevin Thorn not even being on TV Tuesday, and with the upcoming debuts of Shannon Moore AND Renee Dupree, there simply isn't enough time to squeeze all these new people in(Angle, Show, Knox, Test, Punk, Thorn, Moore, Dupree) and still have time for the originals(Dreamer, Sandman, RVD, Sabu, Guido, Credible). I also have yet to see some of the originals on TV at all(C.W. Anderson).
Unless of course Vince is intent on killing ECW and slowly weeding out the originals. Still even, there seems to only be time for four matches per Tuesday given the massive amount of commercial time thrown in. Ok, so we might not see Doring, Roadkill, and the rest of the former mid-carders. But you can't hope to take RVD or Sabu off, they're a big portion of the ECW ratings. Even with only the top ECW stars and all the new guys they're investing money in, there still isn't enough time to get them all on TV.

A second hour for ECW would be a great idea but Vince would't go for it. For a Two hour show it would need its own taping time or a live time slot. That woul probably kill SmacDown! in a way because more focus would be on the new brand's grwoth and achievment. SmackDown! would become the 2 hour live action saturday mornig cartoon from hell.

They do need it. They need to help develop their midcarders. They have a great roster of midcarders that can be brought up as main eventers, like CM Punk, Kevin Thorne, Justin Credible and Balls Mahoney.
The characters they have on ECW are fantastic and interesting characters, and they need more time to showcase them.

ECW will eventually get that second hour--the ratings more than justify it. It's just a matter of HOW long it takes. But it definitely won't happen until the trial run is over.

ECW is posting ratings that are at least extremely competetitive with Smackdown and at times have even beat it. It's more than deserving of a second hour.

So will that mean separate audiences and locations as well? The Smackdown audience is dead enough from one hour of ECW.

It might happen when the trial period ends. Sci-Fi LOVES ECW and there's plenty of talk of it getting its own tapings instead of being SmackDown Sloppy Seconds. It'd only be natural for there to be a second hour, too.

It'd only be natural for there to be a second hour, too. Hopefully they keep it in the Northeast area: New York, Boston, Philly, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, New Jersey, etc. Somehow I don't think ECW would be extremely over in New Mexico or California. But that part's redundant. ECW works best smarky, passionate crowds. The biggest problem is that the Smackdown crowd doesn't know who to cheer for, so Big Show hardly gets any heat and mentions of people like Cena get cheered. I guess I'm stating the obvious though..

Cancel Smackdown, fire the entire roster, and put the money into ECW.

I'm having a hard time with my memory here but....back when ECW was first getting syndicated, weren't they only an hour program?

Dude, it's so f***ing simple to make ECW work well. And cost efficient too.
Every show for X amount of time (basically, to show an ECW crowd how to act at an ECW show) at Hammerstien. That way, you can maximize the product and see what will go over and what won't. And don't say "HAMMERSTIEN HATES WWE PEOPLE IT WON'T WORK THEY ARE LIVING IN THE PAST" because if you can wrestle, they will respect them. Example: Kurt Angle and CM Punk.
Give them 2 hours. 2 hours lets them expand and create characters, and further storylines. Also, it would allow them to venture into my 3rd point which is....
Institute a TV and Tag titles. That way, it will be like...oh I don't know...a real federation?
If the WWE is so concerned with Smackdown sucking ass, they would have fixed it by now. Sent some RAW talent over there. Change things up. Do something. They don't care. End brand extension. PERIOD. Keep Smackdown if you want, that way the "WWE" has 2 shows per week, and ECW can be on its own. Vince makes more money, everyone from little kids to smarks is happy, because the WWE is providing something for everyone, thus becoming Walmart.

What I want is for ECW to move to The CW, and CW Anderson to debut on their premiere show. That way we can finally hear Joey Styles say:
"CW is making his debut tonight on ECW on the CW."

ECW will most likely get a second hour once the Stan Lee reality show wraps up. Expect TNA fans to s*** a brick once that happens.
