I thought the hatred from him basically running into TNA and costing us GOOD X Division matches, as he has been pushed straight to a big PPV match with no build up whatsoever. As opposed to not having the title on PPV at all? Considering the alternative is a Shannon Moore match, yeah, better off without having the title on the show. The present champion doesn't really help anyway.

Let me preface this by saying that Shannon Moore has never really set my world on fire, but I don't get all the hate either. I guess it's because he is Jeff Hardy's Ed Leslie to the IWC.
I always found him a capable performer. I don't want him to become the John Cena of the X-Division or anything, but he can put on a good match and get over when he is offered a chance to.

I love how ever since Shannon Moore made that comment about the internet most people on the internet now hate him for hardly any real good reason. What did he say about internet fans? He's not here to impress the Internet.

I don't hate Shannon Moore. I simply have an intense, burning indifference.

I hope they do end up doing a "North Carolina WildBOYZ~!!!" stable of Jeff, Moore and (eventually) Helms.
I'm surprised they never actually did it in WWE, to be honest.

Been a huge Shannon fan since he first started showing hints of the "Prince of Punk" thing on Velocity around 05. Even helped run his official website for a little while (though my friends were the ones who talked to him directly). While I'm slightly offended at the rabid hate for him... I realize that's part of his appeal (to the fans who "get it.") Go ahead and hate him... I'll be the one chanting DILLIGAF and marking my ass off when he wins the X-title.

He's a decent wrestler, and I don't like or dislike him, but his whole look is so over the top comical, it's sorta hard to take him seriously. I get he's doing the whole 'Prince of Punk' thing, but it looks more like a character from the late eighties-very early nineties instead, i.e. taking the 'Punk' moniker and making it more of a caricature than it feels like it's just him.
Just comes across as trying too hard.

For some reason, he always inspires laughter in me...of the unintentional kind. At least when he's not being a total head-scratcher. On the other hand, he's certainly not boring.

And all his Prince of Punk momentum was stopped with one slap.

I'd appreciate your liking of him more if you finished that post with "Popping in my 3 Count Double Platinum Album, getting up on my feet, putting my hands together and singing along to 3 Count...ONE! TWO! THREEEEE!" rather than what you actually said...since 3 Count Shannon is WAY less silly than current "Punk Pussy" version he's got going on right now.

The thing is, he IS a capable performer, but that's ALL he is. He doesn't have any kind of dynamic presence to make me think "Wow, this guy's a star!", and his overall look and gimmick is just comical.
