Just a crackpot theory here. {Spoiler} ProWrestling.Net is reporting that Daniels is still a member of the TNA Roster despite his showing up on ROH, The Motor City Machine Guns will be appearing for that same promotion next month, due to a new working agreement between the two companies. Maybe, just maybe, TNA and ROH are going for a cross promotion NWO style storyline Possible?

Um, okay, but...what exactly would TNA get out of this? ROH isn't exactly ECW circa 1997 in terms of buzz...

I haven't really followed ROH DVD's for couple months now, because of my recent love for PWG and CHIKARA. What exactly Daniels has been doing in ROH? Last thing I remember was that great promo at Good Times, Great Memories.

My theory is that the fat ninjas who kidnapped Joe were Dan Maff and BJ Whitmer. Daniels saying all those good things about ROH is just a swerve to fans! In couple weeks, hell breaks loose; Briscoes will join them! Xavier will rise from his grave as an ultimate mixed martial arts ninja, John Jirus! Allison Danger comes back, makes Corino to join them as Mr. Fat Ninja 3! And when the time is right... Daniels will reveal that he has brainwashed Samoa Joe with his ninja buddies back as their hired killer and after that nothing will stop them! The Prophecy will once again come true, and that's gospel, according to the Fallen Angel.

I've wanted to see a TNA vs. ROH angle for a long time.

If a promotion battle happened, I wouldn't expect it to be an "invasion" like, well, the Invasion. It'd be more likely akin to ROH vs CZW at the most, or ECW invading WWF in '97/ NWA invading WWE.

But TNA doing that for ROH gives ROH some much needed buzz and also makes TNA look good for being willing to help out a smaller promotion. Unless they just blow it entirely, it will work nicely.

Now that's something I would be all for.
Unless Hogan is directly involved.

If Jim Cornette works with a Bischoff/Hogan/Russo I would be shocked. The only cross promotional match he would allow is James E. Cornette versus Bubba the Love Sponge.

That'd be pretty cool I think, I'd like to see Claudio face a couple of TNA guys.

It sounds interesting and not entirely implausible given the ProWrestling.net blurb.

Ring of Honor needs to stay far away from TNA as long as the current regime in power. I doubt this invasion ideal will happen since Cornette is helping run ROH and despise what WWE and TNA stands for.

This seems to be a way for TNA to get first crack at ROH guys to sign while ROH gets the buzz by being "invaded". ROH gets to use some of the TNA talent free of Hogan/Russo writing and TNA uses ROH as a "developtmental" feeder or sorts.

Apparently ProWrestling.net is wrong (thus I am wrong, thanks for screwing up a great angle Jason Powell) because PWinsider is reporting that Daniels got his release from TNA on Wednesday.
I may still throw together an idea of sort about the possible booking of this should PWinsider be wrong.

TNA also has a working relationship with AAA now, which Konnan books and he's had a rocky relationship with TNA management. So it seems to me like TNA might be stretching out it's relationships once again. For all the crap I give Bischoff, he does have a willingness to work with organizations to get them exposure, although usually it's for his benefit so he can acquire new talent.

What I meant was since Cornette is now executive producer for ROH I'd be sure that he would tell all in ROH not to touch TNA with a barge pole and it would be foolish for them to help TNA in their battle with WWE since TNA may stay going head to head permenantly with ROH on tv on Mondays.
