Coming into the new year, iMPACT just looked so good, orgasmically good if even. Such great talent and matches coming to 2010… … Then I've sat and watched absolute tripe for half a year now. Think of the Knockout's New Years Eve. How many of them are left? I enjoy bits of it. Plenty of talent keeps me entertained, though I seem to harbour some sort of terrible grudge for Wolfe and want him to ship back to ROH. For the whole, it's lost a lot of lustre to me. So no, I don't enjoy it as much as I could.

From the bits I see here and there, not really.
I do like that RVD is finally getting a "real" title reign, even though I admit he screwed his first shot at one up by himself. I also think the production of the show, and the new set up for the Impact Zone are very good too, even though they should have kept the six sided ring. I also dig the updated logo, even if the name still sucks. These are all surface changes though, and do not equal a good wrestling show. They won't have that until they clean house with a lot of the useless roster, and hire a decent booker.
Not since the dying days of WCW have I seen such a talented group of wrestlers so badly booked.

I find it's hit or miss with what they're doing. Though I really enjoy Angle's current stuff.

I try and get back into TNA about once a month, and every time I get put off by the product even more It's been 10-11 months since I first gave up on it now.

I want to love TNA because I thoroughly enjoy many of the talents they have. However, seeing many that I do tune in for getting "backseated" just annoys me and makes me not care. I'm a huge supporter of Nigel's, I want to see the Desmond Wolfe character take off and be what I know it can, but he's pretty much second banana now and it makes no sense.
I love watching Joe work, but he disappears for months, then comes back with some cursory nod to "he was kidnapped" and no explanation given. We get "Joe enters, kills someone, leaves" with no real storyline to speak of. Yes, I'm all for slow builds, but five months of zero air time followed by random appearances that have little direction thus far don't count. If he kept attacking certain people, or there was some reason to it, it'd work, but it's all so random.
The Knockouts were putting on solid matches, then the depush from hell. The X division is just kinda there at this point, Jay Lethal is finally getting to be Jay Lethal while Flair gets mad at him for impersonating him, which will somehow lead to what exactly?
Then there's AJ. Poor bastard was the face of the company for years but the new regime decided he needed a new look and personality that is nothing but a Flair clone. Then they put him with the real Flair, had him "feud" with Abyss for months, which led to RVD wining the title because...who the hell knows why?
Like I said, I love the talent, but if I have to sit here and do f***ing triganometry to figure out the reasoning, then it's going to annoy me.

I don't hate TNA right now, but I'm not really enjoying it as much as I used to either.

I noticed last night was a very solid show. Interesting when Hogan and Bischoff aren't around hogging up screen time, feeding those ego's, we can see a decent show.

It's alright. It's no 2009, but it's no 2006 either.
I'm not entirely sure what that analogy means, but it's not terrible. If it's on I watch it, but if I miss it, I don't go out of my way to catch it on a replay or online anymore.
Although I should say that in my opinion, Mr Anderson is one of the most entertaining people on TV today. Not just on wrestling shows.

I'm almost done with TV entirely, but Impact is the one show I watch weekly. I gave Raw another chance last week, but it was the same stuff they've been doing for the last 5 years (plus the bizarre Jon Lovitz skit). Now, I usually just have my TV on as background noise while playing games or doing stuff on the computer.

I wouldn't say I'm really enjoying it, but at least I'm not just enduring it like the past few weeks. It was a decent show, without a lot of expectations.

As a big RVD fan, I certainly like that he has the belt but even I am baffled as to how they went about it. TNA has no grasp of making fans want to see something. RVD fans waited for about 8 years for him to finally get a world title, then he finally did for about a month in WWE (only to screw it up).
So what does TNA do? They hotshot the belt onto him randomly on TV, giving away something that I would have done over the span of about 6 months, namely RVD/Hardy teaming, AJ defending and escaping, RVD and Jeff eventually have a #1 contenders match, RVD wins, RVD beats AJ at Bound For Glory. Instead they gave all that away in the span of 1 night in order to do a 1.0 rating.
That said, I do see a long term build here for RVD vs. Angle once Angle gets through the 10 guys on the list. Maybe that is what they had in mind to begin with?
