What ever happened to sleeping in Vans and making only enough money for gas and hotdogs? that still happens. Eddie Kingston said when he, Black Jack Marciano, Jigsaw and Jolly Roger were training at The Wrestle Factory and wrestling at IWA: Mid-South they'd only get paid around $25, and Black Jack (who did all the driving) would basically coast into NYC on fumes every time instead of having the others chip in for gas just so they'd have money to go out and eat

Biggest payday I've had so far (I'm about 7 months in) is $35. $20 of that was gas money, since it was about a 5 hour drive; the 5 of us in the car split the costs. The other $15 got spent on food pretty quick. I was in the hole a little over $10 when all was said and done. Other shows, I usually get paid $20, or nothing at all if I'm working in my home promotion or working somewhere else for the first time or two.

I would think that pro wrestling would pay more. I guess you can't pay a wrestler enough for all the hard work they put in.

Depeding on your level of education, years of teaching and city or town you work in, you can make a good amount of money working as a teacher.

Mickie James was a waitress at Olive Garden fairly early in her career, not sure when she stopped. And of course we know the other things she did to supplement her income...

Crowbar runs a physical therapy center in New Jersey.
One of the managers in the company my husband works for was recently a stunt double for John Travolta.
