Pro Wrestling is Real - Anderson did a back suplex on Orton who complained about it to officials and it eventually lead to his WWE release. People are fake - Anderson and Orton were friends before this incident. Am I reading too much into it?  To make this thread interesting - what other t-shirts have had a hidden message in them? |

I just think it's Anderson trying to be cleaver, but looking like a jackass. Like that "WWLSD" crap he had on his wrist tape, it's him trying to look cool to the smarks.

I actually thought the WWLSD bit was pretty cool...and i like Lance Storm and care for his opinion.

There was in indie wrestler from the mid west who made those shirts a few years ago. I think it was Adrian Lynch but I could be wrong. He was just rocking an old shirt.

I'm not sure if it were a dig at Orton that would make it more or less lame. Either way, it's a stupid shirt in my opinion.

Anderson didn't come up with "Pro Wrestling Is Real, People Are Fake". That saying's been around forever. I remember hearing it thrown around during the Attitude Era a few times. I think Anderson just was the first to have it on a shirt!
As for not-so-subtle digs at the competition, TNA had an X-Division shirt a few years ago that looked like the original DX shirt. On the front it said X-Division, and on the back it said "Two Words: No Limits". Although that wasn't even technically a knock on WWE... it was basically just them mimicking a classic shirt. Kinda like the rKo shirt that looked like the nWo shirt.

While it's not exactly the same thing, I always lived Triple H's "Game Over? / You're Damn Right I'm Over" shirt. I still want one of those.
