Shame on the Wrestlecrappers for not noticing perhaps the funniest thing in the history of wrestling. Ric Flair comes down to the ring with a book and a mic. He throws down the mic and starts to talk into the book . . . he then realizes his mistake and picks back up the book and says the same thing he started to say into the book.
Shame.

I just went back on my DVR and it was just as funny watching it the second time as it was the first time.

Senility is finally setting in. This makes me a saaaaaaaad panda. Other than that though, best vignette I've seen in months.

Some part of me desperately hopes that that was intentional on his part.

I'll have to go back and rewatch it, right now. Wasn't paying attention when it was on....
EDIT: That was pure comedic genius. Also, if you listen VERY closely, you can slightly hear Jim Ross chuckle. Amazing.

Him talking into the book and pretending it was a mistake was intentional...

Must have been embarassing for him, it was pretty stupid. You could hear the crowd laugh at him.
Anyone else notice those huge freakish lumps on his temples?

I hadn't noticed that until now. I just saw him throw down the mic, then pick it back up, as if to say "Oh, I need that."

Flair can do no wrong. Hell, he could do a alzheimers fueled promo from a wheelchair while crapping in his depends, and we'd mark out for it.

I think it's funny that I'm rooting harder for the heel than the face in this one.
