It was the host of Summerslam 2002. yeah, but that wasn't that good of a ppv. yes, hbk beat hhh and got beat by hhh, but other than that it was rather meh, IMHO. I'm not being biased due to the fact that I was in attendance for this show, but Summerslam 2002 was not only one of the best Summerslams of all time, but one of the WWE's greatest PPVs in the past 10 years. It's not just me talking--- the general consensus of wrestling fans, I believe, feel the same way. Along with what you mentioned with HHH/HBK, it had Angle/Mysterio...Jericho/Flair...RVD/Benoit...Edge/Eddie....and one of the best main events in recent memory with Rock giving the rub to Brock for the title.

I genuinely thought that everyone agreed Summerslam 2002 was awesome, one of the few things we can all agree on.

I honestly hope Taker is left off the Smackdown fatal 4 way. And Show too but I doubt it. My ideal line up would be Swagger vs Punk vs. Christian vs. MVP. Id probably put Rey in over Christian but I'm guessing he's going to be missing for a while anyway.

I'm gonna say that triple h takes ortons spot if or when we find out how serious his shoulder injury is

I'm gonna say that triple h takes ortons spot if or when we find out how serious his shoulder injury is If Orton can't compete, they should put either Chris Jericho, The Miz, Ted Dibiase or John Morrison in the match. With Cena, Edge and Sheamus already in there, it won't hurt to not have Orton or HHH. I do know that you weren't hoping that HHH takes his spot, just predicting. Sadly, that prediction would most likely happen.

Are these F4W matches one fall to the finish, or the Backlash 2008 format where 2 guys get eliminated for a one-on-one match for the belt?

The commentators have been saying the champion only has a 25% chance of retaining the title, so it seems like it's one fall to the finish.

If all the titles (or at least the majority of them) are to be defended in fatal four way contests, then I predict the following matches:
Intercontinental Championship: Kofi Kingston vs Drew McIntryre vs Christian vs Dolph Ziggler
United States Championship: R-Truth vs Ted Dibiase vs John Morrison vs Evan Bourne
Unified Tag Team Championship: The Hart Dynasty vs JeriMiz vs William Regal & Vladimir Kozlov vs The New Headshrinkers
The womens' title belts are hard to determine considering the thin roster.

Layla v McCool v Kelly v Tiffany Eve v Maryse v Gail v Fox Riveting fare that is. Also, we have to take the NXT winner into account in case they have their title match here. And you'd assume that it would be 1 on 1, or 2 on 2 if it's for the tag titles? Hart Dynasty v Barricho, perhaps? God forbid R-Truth v Otunga for the US title?

women's fatal 4way should, imo, be serena/mccool/layla/kelly, and serena wins the belt and then defends it with the help of punk and the rest of the straight edge mafia, kinda like as if she and punk had switched roles.

I have a feeling they will cop out and only the WHC and WWE titles will be 4way matches. Maybe a divas match as well, but its just as likely to be a non-title match.

Me and my brother heard this song on the radio eariler today and the first words to come out of his mouth was, "How much you want to bet that this becomes a WWE PPV theme?" to which I told him that it'll be this PPV that it happens.

I'd say Cena retains and somehow Swagger will manage to retain too

I think Sheamus is going to win by pinning either Edge or Orton, to continue this pseudo Tommy Dreamer/Raven thing they have going on with Sheamus and Cena.

Thank God this is free in the UK, we're getting fewer and fewer free PPV's every year!
