I was watch WWE On Demand and during the ECW show (Styles and Dreamer host) they were talking about Louie Spicoli and the Spicoli Driver. They mentioned that after Louie died Tommy started using it in tribute calling it the Dreamer Driver and that Saturn used it as the Death Valley Driver. Tommy then said that he gave the move to Cena to use. I found that interesting,
Any thoughts on this?
Any other moves you know of that guys gave other guys to use?
I know Bret Hart credits Konnan for teaching him the Sharpshooter which Terry Taylor also used.

The whole Diamond cutter/ Stunner thing with Johnny Ace (the move's inventor) giving it to both DDP and Stone Cold and then Orton asking DDP for permission/blessing to use it.
Of course, Spicoli didn't invent the Death Driver either.
Malenko giving Benoit the Crippler Crossface.

Ronnie Garvin used a sharpshooter variant in WWF called the 'reverse figure four'. Remember that?

Didn't Malenko "accidentaly" invent The Jackhammer in a training session, and give it to Goldberg?

What about the Ronnie Garvin Stomp?
I know Randy started doing it, I can't remember the last time he did do it but I always wondered if he asked Ronnie Garvin for his permission to use it.

I remember reading that Malenko used to do it off the top rope, and said to Goldberg one time "Nice move, try doing it off the top" or something like that. I think that story is from Goldberg's book, though, I'm not positive. I remember reading it somewhere.

Cody's been using the Alabama Slam, but I'm not sure if Hardcore Holly specifically gave it to him or if he's just doing it as a tribute.

Christian uses the Frog Splash as a tribute to EG. And, of course, Eddie used it as a tribute to Art Barr.

Chavo also uses the Frog Splash, as well as the Three Amigos.
And back to Cody, he also uses Orton's stomps as well as a variation of his brother's drop-slap move (Cody uses an uppercut instead of a slap).

What I'm really curious about is who really innovated the Curb Stomp? My boy, Super Dragon, or the fitness nut that borrowed Dean Malenko's real name?

Also considering he only debuted the gimmick in 2005, and Super Dragon has been curb stomping guys skulls in since before 2002. I think it's clear cut.
