Official preview from WWE.com:
Pending revelation
August 4, 2006
This week on SmackDown, King Booker will go one-on-one with the Deadman, in a rare appearance by Undertaker. The World Heavyweight Champion was successful against Rey Mysterio last week, but will a new kingdom come this Friday?
At The Great American Bash, Chavo Guerrero betrayed his former friend Rey Mysterio, causing Rey to lose the World Championship. Chavo again assaulted Mysterio last Friday and cost Rey his return championship match with King Booker. Chavo will go on the record at SmackDown, hopefully to explain his recent actions. Why has Chavo seemingly tossed aside a lifelong friendship with Mysterio? What will happen this Friday when Chavo comes to SmackDown to “educate” Rey on the true meaning of the Guerrero name? What will Rey’s emotional state drive him to?
Also, WWE.com has learned that on SmackDown, Batista will collide with Mr. Kennedy for the third time in two weeks. Mr. Kennedy earned his second victory in a row against Batista last week on SmackDown. After getting counted out in his match with Kennedy, the infuriated Animal could not manage to get his hands on the man he bloodied at The Great American Bash. Batista endured a hellacious confrontation with ECW Champion Big Show on ECW on Sci Fi. The Animal won by disqualification, but what condition will he be in on Friday night? Will Batista be able to beat Mr. Kennedy? Or will Kennedy be up three on Batista?
Friday Night SmackDown and Diva Search host, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, was vague in his description of this week’s task that the Diva hopefuls will participate in on tonight’s SmackDown. He only said that the Diva Search contestants would be “in your face.”
Tune in Friday at 8/7 CT on UPN to find out.
And as always, NO SPOILERS ALLOWED. Now have at it.
