The Miz thread the other day got me thinking about this. It's kind of funny, since usually the stereotypical smark demand is that everybody's better as a heel, but for some of the guys on the roster, I wonder.
I know he's getting crazy heat now, but when the Miz finally does turn, he's got the potential to be a ridiculously over, Y2J-esque babyface, especially if he cleans up as well as his Real World pictures suggest. He could seriously be as heartthrobby as the Hardys somehow still are. Then again, he probably is already, but I digress.
Sheamus also seems to be more of a natural babyface at heart, as evidenced from his promos from Irish Whip and whatnot, and even that bit they did in... I want to say Dublin, I want to say either right before or right after his first reign, when Cena let him pose with the belt and celebrate with the crowd, and put him over with a promo.
Also, Chavo's been put through such hell in the past year or so I'm surprised he hasn't gotten a sympathy turn yet. He could make it work.
Any other heels around the roster you think'd be better as faces?

Sheamus takes the cake for me. Any time he wrestles a more face-ish role in a match, any time he teases a face turn in a promo, what have you - he always looks so much more natural.

Sheamus.
Don't get me wrong, he's a great heel. I just think he'd be a slightly better face

Right now I'd say Justin Gabriel, even though someone else already has. He has a pretty-boy look and he uses flashy moves. To me this works better as a babyface because many fans like to cheer these guys.

Alicia Fox. Way too cute to be a heel. It just doesn't work.

Cody after his Husky supporting tirade on NXT. I would rather see him tear apart heels on the mic than his current character.
Kane. I tire of heel Kane. I was liking Kane this summer and when he won the title. THe build to SummerSlam and cheesy turn on Taker was weak.

Ted Dibiase. I think he'd actually make a passable (if somewhat boring) face if they came up with a decent storyline that made him somewhat sympathetic (Maryse blows all his money and leaves him, and he becomes a "man of the people"). All I know is hes been a heel forever and SUCKS at it.

Alicia Fox. Way too cute to be a heel. It just doesn't work. Face or heel, they've got to let her play her Sassy Black Woman character up, because she does it extremely well. But if she did, that'd probably endear her to the fans more than make them dislike her, so yeah, she'd be better as a face all in all. And agreed about Sheamus and Justin Gabriel. Gabriel in particular looks about as villainous as a duckling.

I don't know if it'd propel him to the main event, but I wouldn't mind seeing how face Dolph Ziggler would work.

Kane. No one really wants to boo him anyway.
I liked Skip Sheffield's "Cornfed Meathead" gimmick too, though given how he's booked as an absolute beast in Nexus I don't know if he'd be better off as a face.

Edge's heel character is SOOOO beyond stale right now, and that adds to why he's so lost in the shuffle on Raw - and even if he went back to Smackdown, probably - because there's no heat left to his heel character. It's done. Face Edge is an avenue they BARELY explored (for like 3 months this year) before they (and seemingly a lot of people around here) gave up on it. But it's a move that has that has a lot of storyline potential and potential to breathe new life into Edge's career, so long as he's the "edgy" face Randy Orton became, keeping his heel persona but going after heels instead of fan-favorites. Even the run earlier this year wasn't so bad, especially with Striker putting him over as being a madman, and was LOADS better than him running through the motions as heel Edge. My suggestion is to send him back to SD with the SyFy move and establish him as the Orton to Rey's Cena, creating a powerful ready-made core of the show with 'Taker, Kane, Punk and Big Show; having MVP, Swagger, Kofi, Ziggler, Drew, Alberto Del Rio who will be a big deal fairly quickly and hopefully Kaval forming the mid-card, establishing themselves and moving up the card by the end of the year and the time 'Mania rolls around.
On that train of thought, both Drew (who it's been PROVEN is a much better face) and Swagger could benifit from face runs. When Swagger got that face pop in OK right before 'Mania, it just felt so...right. Which is funny, because i'd never thought of it before then, but with the music, him doing his pyro pushups, and the crowd going nuts, it just felt like this guy could be huge face someday. Plus he's got a badass name. Have him kill Cody and Ziggler and make him like when Brock or Kurt were faces, and he's be waaaay over with the crowd.

FOr some reason I feel like he could do real well against Alberto Del Rio if they kept it from being American vs Foreigner and made it arrogant rich guy vs self made man.

Ted Dibiase.Ted Dibiase.Ted Dibiase ;D He has baby face written all over him. If they do turn him I see him moving on the better things than a heel Possibly a MVP type turn..but hopefully they don't give up on him after wards...... {Spoiler}..agian
