No, but there's a possibility that he could put over Daniel Bryan.

When's the last time he put over someone who wasn't already a bona fide main event star clean? Carlito? There was the feud between DX and Legacy last year. Yeah, DX won in the end, but Trips and HBK put Ted and Cody over big time. Creative just dropped the ball with Ted and Cody. But Ted and Cody came out of that feud looking like a million bucks. It was mostly Shawn Michaels though who sold for Legacy. It was HBK who tapped out at Breaking Point and it was HBK who sold the beating at Hell in a Cell before Triple H made his heroic comeback.

Ignoring the fact that HHH will do what's best for business, and he will, despite what some may say, Danielson was trained by HBK and is something of a protege of Regal, both of whom are tight with HHH. Of course I'm just a HHH mark so what do I know?

Not that he's a bad wrestler, but he's not someone who can convincingly look that weak.

That dastardly HHH and his sneaky ways, always keeping Daniel Bryan down.

I always saw Benoit was HHH's arch-nemesis as far as wins/losses go at least - it was ALWAYS believable that Benoit could beat him in any given match.
I could see Daniel Bryan ending up in a similar position, if he gets over, seeing as how he is like Benoit 2 (or Dynamite Kid 3)

Put him over? Yes.
Lose to him? Probably not.

Does it even matter? Why even start to plant the "HHH won't put over the RoH guys!!!!" seed when there's no need to?
For all anyone knows, the two might never interact. Depending on how he comes back from this injury, maybe HHH doesn't even stay in the ring long enough for DBD to ever be on HHH's level of push, kayfabe-wise.

Most likely no, but he could make him look strong like Batista did.
But I agree with the argument that they'll probably never even interact. Depending on how HHH will get involved/not involved with the Nexus I think.

I can see Triple H putting over Danielson. He's a fan of old-school, technical wrestling, so I can see him being a fan of Danielson. He also admires wrestlers with a work ethic who are dedicated to the business, and no-one has a better work ethic and is more dedicated than Danielson.

There are more ways to put someone over than to just lose to them.

If he lost to Jeff Hardy, he'll eventually lose to Danielson if they're serious about pushing him.

Should he?
I like DBD and all, but I agree that it depends on the situation. Does Bryan have a title? Would HHH be about to retire in-ring? Would it be a series of matches? Would there be no other main eventers available to job to Bryan?

Why would assume that he won't? WWE seemed to have gone through great lengths to rehire him back, and based on those "reports" alone, WWE was real hesitant about firing him in the first place.
Management realizes there's something special about Bryan. Apparently there's great stock in him if he's already feuding with The Miz.

I don't know. I wouldn't say never. But there's a chance he won't be on the same show as him, a la CM Punk.

If DBD was in a position where him going over/feuding with Hunter made sense I think he'd do it. I'm pretty sure I've read that Hunter is one of the higher ups there that is really high on DBD, so I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him becoming a Benoit like foil to Triple H
