As we all know, our poor talented pal Regal is now jobbing to just about everyone and Is getting old. I think Willy should retire now (seeing as there is probably no main event push for him now) and become a commentator on Raw w/ Jerry Lawler and have Cole future endeavoured. What do you think?

A British Heel commentator? That'll never work!

I'd love that but I don't think they'd give him the job, not yet anyway. I'd like him to become the RAW GM after this macbook thing has finished.

Anything with Regal generally turns to gold at some point. So, I back anything that he is involved with.

Send him to FCW to train people. He's trained really good wrestlers like Joe, Kendrick, and Daniel Bryan, but he's responsible for creating two pieces of shit, CM Punk and Chris Hero (dead serious), but I think he should be given a chance.

I refuse to close the book til I see AmDrag/Regal 2. In a one-hour draw. I'd actually love to see Regal as RAW GM again, but pretty much anything involving the Straight-Up Gangsta Trippin' One is cool in my book.

Ummmm, is this a comment on them as people, or as workers? Don't get me wrong, I disagree with you on both counts (though I do agree with your first assertion that Joe, Kendrick, and Bryan are great) but I'm just curious.

Ironic that this thread came about, since I just finished his book a few hours ago. Great read, and it makes me miss seeing him interact with people so much. I really want him back in a powerful role again, like GM or Commissioner. His time with Tajiri and Eugene was priceless. Imagine him interacting with Wade Barrett? Could be gold!

Regal is awesome, I can see him having a job for life in the WWE in some capacity or another.
It does seem like his wrestling days are drawing to an end. I'd love him to be either the GM, commentator or even slip into a management role for somebody.
Saying that, he is still really good in the ring so he could stick around as a jobber for a while yet.

He's a Jeff Hardy fan so he holds a grudge again Punk for cashing in the MITB against Hardy. Watch his Youtube videos. www.youtube.com/user/MB69RatedR#p/u/174/K2OutRynx_U

We discussed this yesterday as well. He is still a great talent, but WWE really can't afford to give him a real push any more because he is one wellness violation away from being gone from WWE. He is still very valuable as a mentor who wrestles the up-and-comers. He would also make a nice manager because he can speak very well and he can take bumps. He has apparently mentioned somewhere (an interview? his book?) that he does want to be a commentator.

He's a Jeff Hardy fan so he holds a grudge again Punk for cashing in the MITB against Hardy. Ah yes, I have seen his work. oh my God, that is just marvelous. As for Regal, as someone above stated, anything he does is pretty much awesome, so if he's not going to wrestle any more, he'd be a great GM and I'm guessing his commentary would be excellent as well.

I like Regal, but when he wellnessed his way out of a main event push I gave up on the guy. He'd work as a heel colour guy, yeah, I guess.

Hang on, OP. You want Cole to be future endeavored and King and Regal to commentate? Have you HEARD Lawler by himself? He can do Play by Play! For crying out loud, Cole isn't THAT bad. He miscalls moves but even THAT can be debated. It's a scoop POWERslam so it's not THAT far off FFS. Bodyslam should suffice for "Scoop Slam." I mean, for how long was a "Samoan Drop" called a "Fallaway Slam?" It's just the evolution of the sport.

Send Regal to Smackdown to do commentary with Grisham, move Striker over to RAW to do the trio act with Cole and Lawler that they're up to on PPV.
