It would be great if the longtime bad guy suddenly does the heroic thing and sacrifices himself in order to defeat the greater evil. Or something like that.
So yeah, there definitely needs to be a moment in which it comes down to Cena and Jericho against a larger number of Nexus guys, and Jericho does something to bring it down to Cena and Barrett.

The WWE Pit Of Mystery could come into play in a Jericho disappearance scenario

That would be pretty nice actually like say Cena's team loses and the 7 members of Nexus corner Cena, Jericho makes the save taking a steel chair shot in his place. He is then put through the most severe beating the Nexus had ever administered.

If anything happens, I want it to be like his demise in WWE Heroes. Only without the, you know, "coming back with a giant red demon bonded to him" deal.

Sort of a weird tweet by Jericho.
@iamjericho: Over, finished, gone, done, out.....

He's got to have an exit strategy at some point.

I'm a huge Jericho fan, but...the SRS character has gone about as far as it can go. It would be nice to have it done away with in a satisfying manner where it gets jobbed out and disposed of (the ultimate fate of all heels) so some face (Morrison? R-Truth?) could get some cred as "the man who took out Jericho".
This isn't an insult to Jericho, he's made what could have easily been a godawful gimmick into one of his career highlights, but I just can't see much sense in the character to keep going. He looked so crushed after the Cena win. When he comes back he can return as a face.
Come to think of it, the Rated R Superstar has done about all he could as a heel, too...

I reckon the Nexus have been plotting for a long time. That's Heath Slater.

Y'know, even if Jericho did take out some of Nexus, they could always get Season 2 guys to fight in their places. OT, but I'm kind of wondering if Season 2 will take over Smackdown the way Nexus took over Raw. They're doing the same humiliating stunts that Nexus took issue with.

He was in FCW long enough. Just when you thought it couldn't get more confusing, issue 4 gives us this: I'm pretty sure the, now blonde, guy is meant to be Edge. The comic is full of people randomly changing hair colours and attires.

It would be cool to see Jericho go out on his shield for the sake of the WWE. The SRS character needs to go. Persoanlly, I hope he gets written out and then comes back as Y2J. He has too much talent and charisma to not go back to that.

(fan booking ahead)
I would love for Wade Barrett to have a strong showing, eliminating a couple of WWE guys in the process. Have it be down to Cena and Jericho, with Jericho not tagging in the match at all (let's say he has to join the team and tag in at least once or he's fired kinda storyline). Berrett's beating down Cena, and pushes him into Jericho's corner. Jericho tags Cena on the back, and throws him out of the ring. Jericho gets face to face with Barrett, then smiles and shakes him hand. Barrett goes over and holds the ropes for him, and Jericho smugly steps out to leave, walking right by a heartbroken Cena trying to grab his feet to stop him. Jericho is getting counted out, and as he gets to the top of the ramp and pauses. He's starting to show confliction, and I think the crowd starts murmuring when he stops. Heck, pipe in a "Y2J" or "Jericho" chant to get the crowd going...he then wryly smiles, puts up the Y2J arm pose, turns around, and sprints to the ring. Facial expressions by Barrett and Cena are essential, with Cena being dejected, but then popping like a fan, and Barrett going from smug to "OH MY GOD!!!" Jericho goes on an elimination spree before losing his focus and getting taken out by Barrett. Then, have Jericho taken out for good then, or have a big match against Barrett later where it's done, assuming we're writing Jericho out.
I think the crowds would pop like crazy for him.
