There's been a lot of talk about ECW fans just waiting to boo the crap out of Triple H and John Cena, but I've been wondering which WWE wrestlers they wouldn't boo? I'm referring, of course, to guys who've never been in ECW. I could picture the crowd being receptive to Paul London or Spanky.I'm wondering if Kurt Angle would be crapped on, although he was involved to an extent in the crucification incident. If Shelton Benjamin were face, maybe he would be accepted, too. But despite what JR tried to pass off, last year, Snitsky would not be a perfect fit in ECW. Thoughts?

For this show, I'll agree. It's ECW One Night Stand, not ECW+WWE guys who never did squat for the promotion One Night Stand (that's too long for the marquee)

I think should anyone that has even worked for ECW at least once. Otherwise, they should not be on the show.

I'd like to see Cena there just to see him get crucified by the NY audience.

There was no such thing as an "ECW" wrestler which is what I think your trying to say. So, its not like you can look at the WWE roster and say so and so would've been over huge if they were in ECW or that guy would be percect for ECW. ECW featured a lot of great technical wrestlers, a lot of great brawlers, and they even had their fair share of crappy in ring performers.
Bottom line come ECW ONS is that if theres any WWE guys on the show they will get booed and deservingly so since its an ECW show with former ECW wrestlers.

Wait...technically Kurt Angle COULD be at One Night Stand under our standards, though.
He had his in ring appearance where Joey brought him out to the ring and they played the Olympic theme. Technicality, but hey, it's better than Cena or Trips being there.

ok then let me revise.
Only IMPORTANT people from ECW should be there. The workers that the could came to see. not some loose affiliation with the company

He was supposed to come out the night of the crucifixion situation with Raven and Sandman but he was so outraged that he just left.

Well theres gotta be some WWE guys on it to get some buyrates and have some sort of story line, cause lets be honest here its gonna be WWE fans buying this thing. ECWs most watched ppv was 1998 ECW Heat Wave 0.25 (HA!)

Yeah but I am talking more like the WWE Crusaders from last year. Something that will make the average WWE fan want to see this thing.

Yeah but I am talking more like the WWE Crusaders from last year. Something that will make the average WWE fan want to see this thing. It doesn't need to have WWE guys on there. As long as WWE is marketing it, WWE fans will be there. Or more correctly, WWE Smarks, original ECW fans, and other smarks will be there.

Okay people, perhaps I should clarify. What I was trying to determine was if there were any wrestlers who, should they make an appearance at ONS this year, the ECW faithful would not hate because they, the wrestlers, are actually skilled athletes without a corny gimmick. I bring up Benjamin for example, at least when he was a face, because he was a great athlete who didnt have any reason for ECW to hate him, other than being associated with WWE. I'm not asking who you want to see make an appearance at ONS, nor am I trying to start a debate on whether or not they should be there. I'm just asking, hypothetically, which guys would be safe from the rath of ECW fans.

I'd think Regal would get a damn good reaction, especially once the bell rang.

I don't recall Kurt being part of the crusifiction angle. I believe he was in the crowd that night and he did have brief association with ECW. Yeah. He was an observer, as a guest of Shane Douglas. He had participation in a bit with Taz, though, earlier in that show.
