Seriously, he's better off not in the E, especially if they're willing to fire him over petty s*** like a tie choke. He may not be able to do things he could do on the indies, but I'm sure his paycheck makes him better off in WWE

Really, I feel that nobody wanted to fire him, they just did it because they had to. Sponsor Pressure, I totally believe it.
I really think that everybody, from the wrestlers to the agents to Vince really enjoy Danielson's work and probably thought his NXT Invasion rampage on the announcer and Cena was AWESOME!

None of those dates are Mondays, nor is he booked on the day of Summerslam. Didn't Matt have some dates booked after he was re-signed? They could do the same with Bryan. Exactly. Vince is a professional first and foremost, and would want Dragon to honor the dates he already has booked. Same thing happened with Hardy and Brian Lee I believe. Didn't Eddie show up at some previously booked indy show as the Intercontinental champion?

Apparently Randy also recently gave his opinion on Mr. Kennedy... The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Randy Orton recently made some harsh comments concerning former WWE and current TNA star Ken Anderson. Orton had the following to say: “He is in denial. He thinks you have to be able to do a moonsault to know how to work. And, as far as dropping me on my head, he did. He never got to see all 4 camera angles of him doing it. I did. Plus, the left side of my neck down to my trap was sore all week in Mexico. I did tell Ken that he shouldn’t be dropping me on my head with such a simple basic move. He never said sorry, and even called me a liar after the match. I remember looking at him in disbelief. And yes, I did tell management I did not want to work with him after that. Who wouldn’t? That’s my side. There is another thing…never did I get my neck taped as he claims it was in that interview. Also, the whole bearhug story does have some truth to it. Early in the day that morning in LA, he came up behind me and grabbed around my chest and picked me up off of the floor. I don’t know anyone who enjoys being tackled from behind and picked up off the floor. When he let go and I realized it was Ken, I was like, `oh, ok, you’re back, cool.’ My reaction of his big return was watered down and I found it very funny reading in his interview that he feft like I had an agenda, or almost like I wanted him gone. Not until I was given a belly to back suplex onto the back of my neck did I have any negative feelings with Mr. Anderson. I honestly hope for his wife’s sake that he can find something else he’s marginally good at, and earn a living. I know he really wants to entertain, so good luck Ken, you are gonna need it.” www.wrestlenewz.com/wrestling/wwe-news/randy-orton-finally-fires-back-at-mr-anderson-for-wwe-release/

If I remember correctly Matt Hardy fullfilled all his indie commitments after the WWE rehire him, with the exception of a few international shows.

i do find it telling that the mystery gm put a 90 day hold on Nexus being in any title programs and not having a lot of them wrestle (let alone by themselves). It's like they're just waiting for something before they really do anything.

Hell, didn't Matt not only just do some indy dates after returning but face Abyss on one of them?

I just really want to get AmDrag to autograph a tie for me at the PWG show next week. I don't care what happens after that.

Erm, yeah. Hes definitely coming back. And he should, he was one of, arguably the number 1, most entertaining NXT rookies in Season 1.

This looks like it's going to work out very well for all parties, this whole incident has got everyone talking for weeks after it happens, it's essentially free hype for Danielson.

I expected the rest of this title to be "Randy Orton gives his notice," thus leading to Bryan-esque levels of board explosion. I thought that too. I would have been the cause of the first explosion. A flying colourful explosion.

I hear he actually released Claudio becuase he canceled the rest of his indy dates so he could start WWE sooner I thought Claudio was released because of visa problems?

Danielson is really in a pretty extraordinary position here; he's been fired from the company yet with the full knowledge that the big cheese and the boys themselves would all like him back.
He can continue working indies or go back to ROH; take a gamble on TNA; or try WWE again, knowing he has good backing and a good paycheque.
Really, I'd be pretty damn surprised if he didn't anything but rejoin WWE.

Claudio stated that his visa was fine, and he had both a work visa and a green card so he could work in the United States no problem. As far as I know that's the only explanation that's ever been given

I thought Claudio was released because of visa problems? Claudio stated that his visa was fine, and he had both a work visa and a green card so he could work in the United States no problem. As far as I know that's the only explanation that's ever been given There were also wellness rumors, sort of like we had with Nigel McGuinness/Desmond Wolfe 30 months later, but those were probably nothing. The other explanation was that he was hired by talent relations at a time when the business people were about to begin a big purge of perceived dead weight on the main roster and in the developmental ranks. So Claudio was one of the first cuts, as he hadn't even started. Unlike guys in developmental already, they hadn't sunk any money into (re)training him for their style yet.

Okay, so now Danielson has HBK, Cena, and now Orton on his side. I can't think of a single reason of why he wouldn't be coming back to WWE.

Danielson can use the ligature to keep them in place while Orton punts. New tag team.
