I think the whole Nexus plot automatically lowers the interest for NXT. Why should a viewer care who wins NXT, if the previous batch is still there, all seven, all contracted. It's ike NXT season 1 would have been retconned. So I guess, the viewers just assume these rookies will be on RAW in a month or so anyway.
Plus to be honest, the second NXT batch is a bit bland, at least for me.

It was a meme around the wrestlecrap forums when ECW debuted. Some TNA fan posted a thread here with the title "LOL@ECW RATINGS" when ECW made a 1.4 rating or thereabouts. So he was LOLing at WWE's third-tier show beating the rating TNA gets on their best nights? I can't find the original thread after searching through the 2006 archives, but there was a poster named wcwite that made a thread with "LOL @ ECW RATINGS" and soon became a trend since ECW at the time was making almost twice the amount in the ratings as TNA. I was there when it happened but under a different nick, as I closed my account around 2008 because I needed to sort stuff out at that time.

The low ratings are sure to turn around once Daniel Bryan reveals that he is both the anonymous GM and secret leader of Nexus, and then skyrocket when he is crowned champion of the galaxy.

Part of the rating is Daniel Bryan yelling "YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN ME!" at the screen over and over for the entire show.

This is clearly karma for the Danielson firing as Nielson is subconsciously hosing the WWE. Dragon needs to be brought back immediately and made champion of the galaxy. Minus the spinner belt.

One of the times that Kaval missed the Miz, he kicked the ratings in the head by accident.

There will be the obvious winner who will have a push that goes somewhere. And anyone else who shows promise will go up as well. The Nexus was formed because they knew they had screwed the 1st season of NXT around so badly that they had to do something drastic.

The ratings will get better once Daniel Bryan, Chris Hero, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Claudio Castagnoli, and Colt Cabana all come in and claim WWE once and for all for internet fanboys everywhere. And get jobbed on Superstars.

It's obvious the problem of low ratings would be solved by WWE giving the galaxy a new champion, I can only think of Daniel Bryan being able to carry that burden.

And get jobbed on Superstars. Bryan and Cabana have already been jobbed mercilessly during their WWE stints, to be fair. Bryan only got two official wins before he left, and Cabana/Goldman got squashed by people ranging from Kendrick to Khali.

Well I don't know about the rest of you, and it might be a bit 'out there', but if they wanted to pop the NXT ratings, and indeed the ratings for all shows, what they should do is bring back Daniel Bryan and make him the Champion of the Galaxy.

This board is full of morons
Vince is also a moron, if he wanted to pop the NXT ratings, and indeed the ratings for all shows, what they should do is bring back Daniel Bryan and make him the Champion of the Universe

My point was that if they returned (along with the others) they would be jobbed (again). I was trying to be funny. Thanks for the newsflash, Ted Baxter.

Am I supposed to "Laugh Out Loud" at the ratings? Or should I "Laugh On Line"?
I'm such an old man...
