Comments of Dusty's genetics aside, if they wait 'til he's got some skills, an introductory storyline involving Dusty and Dustin would put the kid on the map right away. Have him come out with Dusty playing the proud papa, Cody wins several matches on Raw. Then Goldust comes back in complete freak mode, cuts work/shoot promos about his relationship with Dusty and how he's going to take it out on Cody, etc. If done with a proper build-up, the kid could be pretty well established coming out of that. Say what you will about their wrestling skills, lisps, splotches, etc, but Dusty and Dustin are both masters at working the crowd, and could get the new kid over like nobody's business....
Unless he starts nailing Marlena.....

Unless he starts nailing Marlena..... The kid has 2 things going for him. 1. His looks. 2. His background. That pretty much was the reason why Orton was pushed beyond his abilities. The kids needs to get experience. That's the most important thing that a lot of WWE-wrestlers lack. They have a good look and know the basic wrestling moves and that's it. But you can't have a carreer on that or waste WWE tv-time learning the ropes (or learning to fight trough these tears).

They can bring back Dustin and have him team with Cody, they can be managed by Dusty and there you go. Tag team champs in two months. I would like that. Any reason to bring back Goldust is A-OK with me.

The guys got the pretty boy looks that the WWE is loving at the minute (Orton, Cena), as such he'll probably be with us by the end of the year unless he's truly awful of course, and then i have to give the E some credit that they wouldnt put someone who couldnt even do basic stuff in a big role on tv. Really? You sure? Especially considering Chris Masters breaking Stevie Richards' face apart in his debut match with the most basic of all wrestling manuvers....a punch. It was a Polish Hammer. And Chris Masters is the best wrestler of his generation.

He's 21, apparently he's been training with OVW recently, and his wrestling career officially started last month. WWE sure doesn't waste their time... ooooooooooooooh, hey baby

I think the biggest problem is that even if he gets coaching from his dad (who Foley credited as giving the best advice he ever got for promos), the skills he learns will be the exact skills that creative shuns:
Improv skills.

I can't wait to see him in yellow polka dots with yellow cowboy boots being managed by a rather large black woman, maybe Momma Benjamin can fill that role?

Dustin and Cody are also only half-brothers.

Just to show how old this news can make a 21 year old feel...
I remember reading a story in a Pro Wrestling Illustrated (or one of their offshoots, like The Wrestler) in the supermarket during my markish days (around the age of 10-12). The article talked about Dusty having another son besides Dustin, who might want to one day become a wrestler. It was, what, one sentence in the entire article? But it stuck, because I kept wondering when he was going to come along. Of course, they mentioned the kid was his youngest, so I didn't expect it any time soon.
And now, here he is. I think I might just resurrect my old pasttime of reading wrestling mags at the supermarket, hot with anticipation for Summerslam and the stack of pizzas to coincide.

I am a big second generation mark, so I am glad to hear this. Awfully quick call-up, but I fault WWE for that. Hopefully family is advising him and he is a little pre-trained.

hmmm......upon further review of this kid's myspace.....he's only 6'1''.....maybe he can do some flippity flops... A Runnels flips, a Runnels flops, but a Runnels certainly doesn't flippity flop. But this does annoy me a little. This kid has something about him. And with mic skills he could be really something. But he needs experience in the ring. Even coming from a wrestling family doesn't mean someone can just walk into the ring and wrestle a good match. If this kid comes in, looks totally lost in the ring and injures himself or others then he won't last long. And that would be a shame. Especially now that there seem to be more and more 2nd generation wrestlers (Smith, Neidhart, Snuka jr., Dupree). Put them all in a stable and you have a great and diverse group of young wrestlers. And a stable like that could jumpstart their carreers.

I agree a feud over Dusty would be golden. They could team Dustin and Cody up a few weeks then have Dustin's Jealousy turn him into gold dust something his father had despised at one time. Now if we could only get Terry Runnels in the picture,it could really get good.
