That should be an interesting one.
I was kidding about Maryland/Navy, BTW.

Fresno State now up 28-14 over Cincinnati.
Also, during the LSU-UNC game, after the 51 yard TD pass to Reuben Randle that gave the Tigers the 30-10 lead, Jordan Jefferson did John Cena's "You Can't See Me" deal.

Not to knock Fresno State, as I do think they are a good team, but what the hell happened to Cincinnati?

Butch Jones is a good coach, don't get me wrong, but the same thing happened when Jones replaced Kelly here at CMU. Kelly was 10-4 his last season here in 2006. They went 8-6 the next year. So I'm expecting a bit of a drop off for Cincy.

Well it should be an interesting match up, just not one I'm actually gonna sit down and watch. Hell, to be honest, I can't pick a winner in this match. SMU went 7-5 last year, then went on to their first bowl game in a long ass time and won. But Tech, well, we don't know how well Tech will do.

Patrick Peterson is a beast for LSU, I just dont see him doing that every single game. But still 200+ return yards is nice. Even though LSU tried to lose that game they couldn't. They need to straighten up and do something. Its gonna be a long season if they don't.

LSU has the talent to get it done, it's just that the coaching is the main issue(I think Gary Crowton should be ousted as Offensive Coordinator).

So yeah, tomorrow is Texas Tech vs. SMU. Anyone really care? I don't. I went to the game and stayed until half. It was way too freaking hot (I've lived in Lubbock for over a year now, and I'm STILL not used to the heat...), and I am pretty badly sunburned, so we walked back to our apartment. So far, Tech's offense (lead by Potts) showed the same optimism that it did last season. Potts was incredible the first game (Short of his 3 interceptions), but so far he hasn't had too many other drives other than the 7-play 80 yard run on a minute and a half. Other than that, Potts still has not made a play that has made me too excited. They also still lack a decent run game. Inversely, while SMU's passing game was nonexistant, Tech has NO run defense, so SMU has exploited that heavily! As I say that, Tech scores a TD, and they are up 35-18.

SMU making things interesting, as they have cut Texas Tech's lead to 35-27 with 7 minutes to go.

I swear to God, Tech has NO defense. And if they get the ball back, Potts better not be coming back out.
