It's fine as a setup or signature move, not really as a finisher. Unless it's the Straightjacket Lungblower.

They should use his last name along with the original name of the move.
"The Colon Blower".

I've seen quite a few people claim that Carlito is doing the backcracker/lung blower wrong, so my question to those people are, how is the move supposed to be done?

The move has been around for quite some time before carltio started using it... its official name is the lungblower, but ive heard it referred to as the John Walters alot too Yeah, Walters called it the Lungblower when he used it as his finisher.

What sounds better, "Colon Blower" or "Colon Cracker"? Personally, I think a "Cross-armed Colon Cracker" sounds flawless. Maybe a "Cross-armed Carlito Colon Cracker".

I'll make your back crack and liver quiver, Im the man of the hour, the man with the power, too sweet to be sour, funky like a monkey, the men's regret, the women's pet, what you see is what you get, and what you don't see is better yet, I eat t-bone steaks, I live barbell plates.

I don't like the name. When I think of cracking backs, I think people wanting to get there backs cracked, by like a chiropractor. Hey, that'd be a twist! A wrestler complains about having a sore back, and then he has a match with Carlito where Carlito gives him the Back Cracker, and the wrestler's back doesn't hurt anymore. He just pops up. It'd be great.

I've seen quite a few people claim that Carlito is doing the backcracker/lung blower wrong, so my question to those people are, how is the move supposed to be done? You're supposed to jump into it and pull them down with you. Carlito doesn't pull them down, he just kind of falls over.

You're supposed to jump into it and pull them down with you. Carlito doesn't pull them down, he just kind of falls over. Carlito's clearly holding onto their shoulders when he executes the move, but let's say he IS just falling over. Purely speaking from what the move suggests and not actually having taken or given it myself (oh hell no), pulling the opponent down would use arm strength while falling back would use the body's own weight to take him off his feet, but either way, it accomplishes the same effect (though on an opponent of a greater weight class, i.e. Big Show, you'd probably want to use arm strength). Guy's back crashes down into propped knees, it hurts, go for the cover and hope he doesn't kick out. It wouldn't seem that gimped to me.

It knocks the wind out of the opponent so you're able to get the three count so it is a very credible finisher.

Why do people care about this move so much? We've had so many threads to it ... it's starting to rival the F-U.
