Hopefully this means that Triple H is considering retirement from the ring soon. Having a guy on the active roster with booking power never ends well. No wai baby! Triple H will soon be on his way to the pay windah!

Now he needs to retire lest there be a conflict of interest. Yeah, cause people generally stay away from the spotlight when they're also managing it. Also, the referees never miss anything, Kelly Kelly is a valuable in ring asset, and Luke Gallow isn't an extremely sexy man. Har Har Har. Sorry.[/Zero Punctuation]

If this is true Triple H should no longer be an active performer. This. But if he is winding his career down, he's definitely someone who should get the book.

i imagine it was hard to give him that office due to Vince Russo filling it with Cement when he left...
(ok...that is a reference from the simpsons commentary for "new kid on the block" that Conan does...and Matt Groening tells Conan during it that "nobody has used your office since you left" and conan said "yea...well thats because its really hard to get past all the cement"

HHH has always had power to give suggestions, but merely giving suggestions is limited power. He just had more power than the other wrestlers as far as being able to actually talk to Vince and have Vince regard his input with more credibility. From everything that I've read over the years, there were multiple people that were Vince "suggestion givers", that being HHH, HBK, Undertaker, Big show, and Finlay. I read a while ago that HHH and Shawn Michaels were both going to be guys that were going to have an official position when both their careers were over. I think HBK decided to completely leave the business though, so that only leaves HHH.

I'm thinking this is a sign that he's getting closer to retirement. The quad injuries, there were reports his neck was hurting him before Mania, and the growing family he and Steph have, all point to him getting ready to hang it up.
The original reports were he was supposed to be back in time for SummerSlam, then that got changed to December. I could see this being the last Mania for him and Taker.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!! Pictures have leaked of HHH's new office, with Trips himself testing out his desk chair!!!!!! The desk has not arrived yet, as the carpenters have not been able to find a 10,000 year old oak tree worthy of becoming the Desk of Helmsley.

If this is true Triple H should no longer be an active performer. Yeah, because that would be unpreced--- oh wait, it's happened in ever wrestling company and territory in history. Like a bunch of people have said, he's had influence over a lot for years and years now. The only difference is an office and title to get him more money to make up for the no wrestling thing...

We all know wrestling isn't "real" right? Where's the conflict of interest? Is he going to rig his matches?

I hope HHH forces Evan Bourne to dress up like The Ultimate Warrior, simply to avenge his one loss. Then HHH can say he's never been beaten by anyone - and retire gracefully.
