One by one, my childhood memories are dying. It's a really bitter pill to swallow. I always viewed Luna as the baddest chick in wrestling.
R.I.P. Luna Vachon. Prayers go out to the family & friends.

Soooo sad, another death in wrestling. God bless her and her family, the last I heard of her that she was trying to replace things lost in the fire. R.I.P.

So soon after her house fire too. This is horrible. I really hope it wasn't anything related, especially considering she was in pretty decent shape for a woman her age and in her profession too. She will definitely be missed.

She was one of my favorites in the WWF Raw game, and another one taken too soon.
RIP.

I remember being at a birthday party in April '97 watching WCW Saturday Night with some friends when she made her surprise return. Shocking moment. Always enjoyed her work with Goldust too.
RIP.

RIP, such a shame. I remember she used to scare the hell out of me watching her when I was a kid. Frustrating that these kind of threads seem to come round so often.

No parent should have to outlive their child. I hope the mother gets all the support she needs.
Luna deserved better. At least she's no longer in any pain. She won't be forgotten.
RIP

I usually don't get too worked up over celebrity deaths, but I'm legit crying right now. Luna was one of my childhood heroes, and to have her go so soon is just miserable.
R.I.P. Luna. You should have been Women's Champ, and deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Was thinking about her for the past few days.
Thinking about how hot she was (I'm a "guy" after all) and wondering if she was OK since the last thing I had read/heard about with her was that her house burned down and she lost everything.
Now this.
Along w. Medusa & Bull Nakano, she was probably the last of the female wrestlers / wrestling personalities in the WWF/WWE who could actually pull off a fine match and actually seem very threatening.
I definitely remember her as being Shawn Michaels' valet after Sherri left him, and later, moving onto Bam Bam.
Had read earlier about Tony Borne, and then reading this, just too much really.
Sad days in wrestling right now indeed.
Hopefully, "Raw" this week will have a tribute to Luna, like they did w. Lou Albano & Jack Brisco when they passed recently. After all, her father was inducted into their hall of fame this year.
R.I.P. Luna. A true one of a kind.
Sincere condolences to the family & friends.

*sigh* Another wrestling death..
I can't say i was a huge fan of hers, But a Fan or not this is very sad.. 48 Years old is not a Dying Age..
My last memory off Luna is refusing to take her Clothes off at the 2000 Royal Rumble...
