I'll probably be on a bit more often once Red Dead Redemption comes out. I reckon the Wrestlecrap posse will be a most fearsome posse, indeed.

You know... considering how you've got the two and a half winning streak on me (Does a game of Darts count? Especially when one half doesn't know how to play control wise) I shall commence coming up with my PSN contest entry over this week...

Can you explain how please? Also my PSN ID is: Slash-LN This is the guide I used. Also, PSN ID is BurningHammer89, but I'm rarely on just now because I got sick of my housemates leaving discs all over the living room and decided to take my PS3 out of the living room.

Quick question, do the new slim line PS3's play PS1 games?

Nope, the first line of PS3 models were the only ones that have backwards compatablity. Sony of course phased it out for STUPID REASONS! Oh well... *pets my fat PS3 with backwards compatablity*

Oh well... *pets my fat PS3 with backwards compatablity* No, no, no, ALL PS3s have PS1 backwards compatibility. The BC they removed was for PS2 games. I should know. I have the PS3 Slim now and I've played Metal Gear Solid 1, Tomb Raider 1 and 2, and Spyro 2 all on their original PSX discs.

Quick question, do the new slim line PS3's play PS1 games? All PS3s (including the Slim ones) play the PS1 games. Only the early models (i.e., the 1st and 2nd generation models) play PS2 games. The launch models has the complete PS2 chipset, while the 2nd generation has software PS2 compatibility. Oh, and my PSN ID is: WashuChan0413.

Will probably use the remaining credit on 3D dot Heroes later this week.

What did the former Super Bowl Champion Kicker of the Chicago Bears ever do for PSX?

Picked up Mercenaries 2. If anyone has it and wants to co-op, bring it on.

Did they fix the server for Merc 2? I rented that game a few months back. One thing that irked me about that game is that I had to disable my network settings to get the game to load. If I didn't, it would just stick on the connecting to server screen. To top things off, the cheat codes were useless if you couldn't get online. That wasn't a big deal storywise, but was annoying if you wanted just to mess around and blow stuff up.

Just a little note to add to that, PS1 add-on discs (Like MGS: Virtual Missions) don't work on PS3s. They never worked on PS2 either for some reason.

These Lost Planet 2 reviews make me sad, because I loved the demos.
I shall love the full game as well, but it just feels like .. Remember when you're playing a game and it gets so hard that you sell it to a friend or something because you're so angry and don't want to see it again? That's what I imagine the reviewer as.

That game for me was "Out of this World" for the SNES. And yeah the ign review i saw for Lost Planet 2 was not kind.
